How did the female lead not realize that it was Yan Mingliang who pretended to be her father and saying such lies? Even when she read her father’s diary? I’m just thrown off by how the she became a little too easily manipulated and tricked around the end… other supporting characters had great character development tho, like Brother Qiang, Qing You, Bawan, and Xiaoqing.

It took them so long to get together so i was kinda bored in the middle. When they were gonna go off with Ning, poor planning, planned so long and still ended that way? If it weren’t for Ning keeping him alive to dig more secrets, it would’ve ended right there.

But yay I love Mu Dan. She’s the smartest of all female leads, well especially in this part 2 of the drama

Great chemistry! Haven’t seen that for a while! Can’t we have a little more scenes for the ending? Also the one and only ost, it’s good but it’s literally played during every scene, as a sad song, played during a happy scene??? In the beginning when Lin Huan Er entered the book, it’s really similar to Love Game Eastern Fantasy. Wished they could’ve have a little more of their own.

Haven’t had a great drama for along time! Haven’t seen this kind of wedding in ancient Chinese dramas for along time too. Those outdoor lighting, 雨後的陽光 like lighting loveee. Another great chemistry! This transmigrating definitely has its own uniqueness. OST is great too. I’ve never watched the animation or read the novel tho and I dunno how the actor and actress sound in real life so the dubbing was alright to me

Watched this cuz I heard it’s an adaptation of Positively Yours manhwa, but in the end, I feel like this drama is very different from the manhwa… to the point where it’s feels like a whole different story just with some similarities…. It has been too long since I read the manhwa so I don’t remember much but watching this drama didn’t bring back any memories at all. The love triangle? A villain? Beer? Nahhhh. “Hard to love” ost was nice tho. Maybe the drama is too cliche or characters are underwhelming for me. Great drama for young people, teens?

I approve Li Jen Yao lmao am I psycho no. Also when Taiwan makes a good drama, it’s damn good. Ko Chia Yen omg tho this one not my fav, it’s still so good.

I started watching thinking it was game plot heavy but nope… so I got a little bored

Also the ending is not satisfying enough… I wish Zhi Yu and his brother Pei Zhen didn’t end like that, otherwise what’s up with the sudden throwback scene?

And after the truth about Zhi Yu’s father, Hu Xiu’s parents didn’t even apologize or try to empathize with him. 

Ok but the extra ending scene is nice.

The beginning was a bit boring to me. The acting is ok. I feel like the male lead actor’s acting is much better. He felt different from being He Tian Xing and Situ Aoran. He Mingli’s mother’s acting is pretty bad, or it’s just the character being very ridiculous and fake. I dunno why but I couldn’t emphasize on the female lead’s emotions when she couldn’t be with Aoran anymore. Might be the acting or the way it was written. There was also a scene where the female lead was talking to herself, she talked so loudly I don’t believe the people beside her doesn’t hear it. The ending is pretty good. I liked how the story wrapped up.

Costumes and visuals litttt and the most powerful queen. Duan Xu’s devotion to he si mu is another level…. So much happened in this drama. And he si mu having had 22 past lovers, each lasted 20 years does not make sense unless my knowledge of her age was wrong. Jiang Ai said that she hasn’t been this bright and happy since her father died and that was at least 300 years ago. 22 x 20 =440. Unless she really dated one after one non stop, and been very insignificant, maybe that could be the case.

I suspect they changed the ending because in the fantasy, wuxia genre where they could live forever, they’d make an ending that foreshadows Duan Xu eventually becomes a spirit and live forever with he simu. While this ending where he si mu becomes a mortal, they'll eventually die with a life span of 100 years.

A 9.5 for the story and ost. Everything else a 10 so basically a 10. Haven’t seen this kind of contract marriage for a while and monarchy in the modern world?? With IU and Byeon Wooseok as the leads?! That’s a jackpot! 9.5 for the story because it’s so short :/ let me see the second proposal please. Also what did they do for 3 years if not having a heir?? But anyways, everything in here is so pretty. Other than IU’s nails in the proposal scene and afterwards. Lmao, I paid extra attention to that cuz I got spoiled online. Her sister-in-law’s nails was pretty than hers.

I dunno how realistically accurate it is but it seems very realistic to me!
