In the top 3 of my best C-dramas of the year. When my two talented actors come together with a talented director and an interesting script, it creates rave-worthy emotions! Both the ML and FL know how to choose good artistic projects — that’s part of talent too

top 3 c-drama of the year 

One of the best C-dramas of 2025 on top 5, with a special mention for the incredible chemistry between the protagonists. Also for the two very charming stars, the music, and the visuals.

A talented director who brings out the actors. I

interesting writing. The ML plays his role very well, and for once the FL fits her role and is consistent (I don’t find her to be an expressive or talanted  a-list actress)

A lighthearted rom-com that works well, with charming actors

A very enjoyable series to watch, one of the best of the year for China. Once again, the couple works wonderfully, with a charismatic ML !!  and an energetic FL !! . The storyline and visuals are also strong. It’s just a pity about the middle part — you could easily skip about 10 episodes. It loses much of its initial writing charm there, but the ending takes back the reins.

Beautiful cinematography as well as great actors, and a decent story too. One of the most interesting Korean dramas of the year

Entertainment 

Great performance from Chen Zhe Yuan, and a nice attempt at telling an intense and interesting story. A series that sits between commercial and artistic, which is commendable. The supporting roles are interesting too, though it’s a pity the FL isn’t emotionally competent enough for this role.

Addictive to watch, but there are flaws in the writing.

Solid performances from the actors in their roles. However, despite an interesting and original initial idea, the development fails and the series falls flat. Not many clichés, though.

A nonexistent storyline, Instagram-worthy visuals, and handsome actor — the result is commercial success, but certainly not something that moved me emotionally.
