School Dramas

Yoshikawa Nao is a student who ends up renting a place alone so that she can stay at her school instead of moving with her parents to the country. Uehara Hisashi is an extremely popular kid at the same school, who is known to always turn down girls. They find themselves accidentally rooming in the same place, and it is here our story begins.

Lee Seul Bi is an angel who is sent to earth, and finds herself taking classes with Shin Woo Hyun and Hwang Sung Yeol. 

Bei Wei Wei is a computer science major who loves to play a mmorpg(Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) in her free time. She needs to play at a computer place (sorry what are these called again >.<) and Xiao Nai, who, due to his basketball skills, good looks, academic prowess, and over all perfect-ness is the popular boy at school, sees her playing said mmorpg, and falls in love with her skills at the game. Due to this, he has his character, who also happens to be very well-known in the game, approach her and the two's relationship quickly grows to outside the game as well. 

The present day part of this drama may not have them in school, however when we are watching the parent's romance begin, they are in school.

Suh In Ha, an aspiring artist, immediately falls hopelessly in love with Kim Yoon Hee a student who happens to be studying at the same school, however his friend happens to confess to her first and Yoon Hee ends up dating him instead, leaving In Ha to take the backseat as he also doesn't want to hurt his friend.

Shi Yeon is bullied in school for being fat, and is bullied by her famous idol sister for the same. The two fight a lot due to not understanding, or trying to understand each other. One day, however, they end up switching bodies, and seeing life from the other's perspective.

Sakaki Makio is the son of a yakuza leader and is known as Tornado. However he dropped out of school, and his level of academic intelligence has come in the way of being able to make deals well which frustrates his father who decides to send his 27 year old son back to highschool, informing him, that his position of Boss will intead be given to his younger brother if Makio doesn't pass. Thus he needs to pass as 17 and not allow anyone to know he is in fact a 27 year old who is trying to keep his postion of yakuza boss. 

Aaaand the reason I picked this one up... It was my very very first drama ever, so I remember the reason (and had a reason) quite well >.<

Kang Yeon Doo as well as her school mates (duh) go to an extremely competitive school that, in it's competitiveness creates a divide in the students, and puts (understandably) a ton of stress on all of them. Yeon Doo is the leader of the Dance Club Real King, a group that's made of the students who are mostly at the very bottom of the student rankings and get bad grades, but enjoy their time dancing. Kim Yeol is top student of the school and leader of Study Club Baekho, which consists of all the top students in the school for them to study in peace. They also happen to be the neighbors of the dance Dance Club, and the two clubs end up quarreling a lot. However somethings happen and the two are made to join together to form the cheerleading team, thus the two groups find themselves leaning more about each other and the situations that they each face. 

Kim Yoon Hee is a girl from Joseon who disguises herself as a boy and takes her brother's identity in order to take an exam and enter Sungkyunkwan University. There she meets Lee Sun Joon, a boy who comes from a privileged background, is intelligent, and rather arrogant. A carefree playboy, Goo Yong Ha, and rebel Moon Jae Shin who happens to be friends with Yong Ha.

Kang Se Ra is a volleyball player who has hurt her leg and finds herself needing to teach a highschool volley ball team. There she meets Hwang Jae Woong, one of the volleyball players. While the two have a rocky relationship, while helping the team get better, the two also get closer.

Han Da Woon is a bookish girl, who has just started college with the hopes of finally getting a boyfriend. Dong Hae Sung is a well-known volleyball player who has found himself needing to start college himself. He was never very good at school, however he has a plan, like he has always done, he plans to sit himself near another who is very good at studying and basically cheat off them the whole year. This time his sites are set on Da Woon and the two quickly become friends, slowing growing, before they realize it, into feelings for each other.

Just before their debut date, ASTRO ends up time-traveling back to when they were in school and before the group had become, well, a group.

HONORABLE MENTION

I thought for a bit whether I should make this an honorable mention or not, in the end I decided here, though I still may change it later. 

Kawano Ayu finds herself the step mother of a 5-year old boy, Yuki, after she marries Tetsu. She finds herself taking him to and from school and ends up dealing with the mothers of the other kids at the school and their discrimination and overbearing attitudes that affect how much Yuki will be accepted.

HONORARY MENTION

There are two parts to this movie, when we follow Ji Hwan and when we follow Geon Woo. Ji Hwan is a high-school music teacher, who falls in love, and wishes to marry his colleague. So when we are following Ji Hwan we are at a school usually. However somethings happen, and there are a couple of things to solve happening at/around the school.
