Some may think he is a genius. But in my opinion, romantic dramas do not end tragically. I am not looking for a Romeo and Juliet when I watch c-dramas...

AVOID!!

In my opinion, this director is better suited to modern dramas. His vision for a heavy, emotionally charged period thriller drama, such as Joy of Life season 2, was to incorporate yodeling at every turn, recast the characters as clowns (the captain of the black knights), and remove the essence that makes the main character extraordinary.

What made season 1 remarkable turned out to be a deception (director: Gao Han). I am not influenced by the novel, which I truly like; novels and dramas are different and for different audiences. Season 1 was different from the novel, and I loved it. So it is all about the wrong director since the scriptwriter and the cast are the same in both seasons.

So the choice to keep him for season 3 is a major disappointment for me.
