1. All of Us Are Dead
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
my rating can't be completely objective because i'm forever emotionally attached to the sewol ferry tragedy
- this show doesn't follow its own made up rules. logic consistency? never heard of her. so many plot holes, you can't even theorize. was it intentional? who knows
usually i don't get along with this kind of stuff. here i didn't care. why? because i liked the show. the characters. it was fun. it was sad. + i love zombies. so yeah, no objectivity at all - p.s. i'd recommend doing some research about sewol ferry before watching

2. Through the Darkness
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
for fans of slow-burn crime shows like mindhunter (the book that mindhunter was adapted from, in the show, is what inspires the guy). it's not about the investigation per se, more about the building of the analytical group, their little adventures, misfortunes and wins. about psychology of specific murderers, now known as serial killers
got to admit, i've dropped it after ep5. glad i gave it a 2nd chance. truly fell in love with it after ep 7
brilliant acting. actors who played serial killers gave me chills, they were amazing

3. Stranger Season 2
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
even better than s2, but has the same pacing problem in the middle. still would definitely recommend. great ost and acting. found the mystery more interesting in this season. last episode was very emotional, it got me. especially the 1st half
p.s. can't believe that the character whom i hated in s1 got me all worried in this one

4. The King of Pigs
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
the most confusing part about this drama - reviews calling it the best drama and a masterpiece. i mean, if it's the only thing that you have ever seen, then i guess...
i liked the school part (teen actors were better than the adults imho). rest was a mess, especially police. it was so bad, i was constantly pissed off
honestly, this drama is nothing special. it could have been though. if the writing was better
they really wanted to bait the viewers with them male leads, too bad they had no chemistry (sorry hon but this ain't beyond evil).ps. i'm gonna get hate for this but yeah, who cares. Kim Sung Gyu and Chae Jung An lowkey ruined this drama for me. i have never seen her before, maybe her character was written that way, idk. i liked Kim Sung Gyu in Kingdom, but here, holy shit. the moment i saw him, i wanted to punch him in the face, repeatedly, through the whole drama. idk why lol

5. Bleak Night
Korean Movie - 2011
love the cover of this movie, it portrays the movie perfectly.
the characters are realistic, no one is truly good, no one is 100% bad. movie has many layers, and it takes its time to unveil them. the main themes are: friendship and loneliness (and fear of being left completely alone). if you don't like slow-paced movies, then you won't like this one.100% recommend but tw: suicide, bullying

6. Kamisama no Ekohiiki
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
this one surprised me for two different reasons. 1st, how good it was. i went in completely blind (would highly recommend to do so). 2nd, how deep and thought-provoking it was.
it's a super-wholesome drama about: what being in love with someone truly means; gender & identity; sexuality; friendship
great characters and their development
the acting wasn't the best but after 10 minutes i was so immersed, i completely forgot about it lol

7. Decision to Leave
Korean Movie - 2022
