1. Hi Bye, Mama!
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
so special to my heart, i would recommend this to anyone! it had me crying waterfalls and the last episode genuinely sent me into a mental breakdown at 2am from how devastated i was

2. It's Okay to Not Be Okay
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
no romance comes close to theirs. this was so beautifully written and the way the stories connected through munyeong's children's books was the best use of props ive seen in a drama. the characters felt alive because of well written they were. munyeong remains my favourite character ever!!!!

3. Twenty-Five Twenty-One
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
it lost 0.5 because of the ending, but if im being honest this was an easy 10. even though the plot is a simple story following a young athlete, the colour palette and the ost easily make it one of the best dramas to ever air. the added trope of found family is the cherry on top. 2521 portrays youth in the most devastating yet wholesome part of one's life, but depicts adulting in an equally devastating way. in short, 2521 simply carries the essence of coming of age as a whole

4. The Atypical Family
Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
the colour grading in this drama was insane. as someone who actively avoids the fantasy genre, i think my biggest regret in life would’ve been not watching this. the slow but true chemistry between the leads, the father-daughter dynamic and the warm tones make the series feel like a big hug while youre actively waiting for the supernatural climax to take place. there is no other drama that could visually impress me as much as atyp fam!!!!

5. Queen of Tears
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
i dont think i have ever cried so much about a series after it ended. i am not mentally fit enough to write a review yet but the mdl comment section is wrong. this could never be overrated and i might cry thinking about them even as im writing now

6. Flower of Evil
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
the best psychological thriller that has ever aired. the backstory and character building of the main lead is the most devastating and shocking journey. it starts off eerie, but the ending left me in tears. the storyline is immensely well thoughtout and i doubt a better anti-hero will ever be written in TV

7. Thirty but Seventeen
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
to me their love story is genuinely the scientific proof behind the red string theory. they were and still are everything to me and its hard to write a review because no words could express how emotionally attached i am to this drama. the characters have the most heartbreaking backstories but the series unfolds in such an upbeat and wholesome manner, i can rewatch it a million times.... its actually impossible to let go of this masterpiece

8. Age of Youth
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
MY BABIES!!!! the most rewatch worthy drama of all time. these girls mean the world to me and watching their friendship build through the most simple plot built an unreal attachment between me and this show. all 5 girls have problems they face outside of the dorm but at the end of the day, that apartment is where they come back to become the happiest version of themselves. I will forever mourn the possibility of season 3, this was a gem ☹️

9. Welcome to Samdal-ri
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
the masterpiece that reinvented the "second chance" trope!!!! i love when men are written for women, and ji changwook's character in this is just that. he spent his whole life loving her and used his second chance to show his love never stopped. welcome to samdalri's found family trope and their intricate friend group will forever hold a place in my heart. theres like no other way to describe it other than the directors hit the nail on the head and created an unbelievably perfect, all rounded series :-)
