I've had some issues with it here and there and the ending could have been better but overall what a masterpiece holy shit

This drama altered my brain chemistry. I thought at first it will be too silly and comedy which I'm not into but somehow it got me hooked and I even started to like the female lead a lot. Their chemistry was off the charts and there were some pretty steamy scenes. Feiyu is excellent in it.

After hating on this for years I'm glad I gave it a chance. Yes, it is a 2ha rip off, without question. BUT it has its own themes and plot which is what helps the drama to have its own identity. Altho we have scenes with literally copied lines or plot points but once I was ready for it being there, I could just accept it.

Drama on its own is very well made and acting from both Yunxi and Bai Lu is beyond amazing. It truly made me care for everyone and them so much I was devastated at the end. It has ambigous ending, I'm choosing my own.

the source material is a japanese novel series Onmyoji which China made a mobile game for and this is the adaptation of the game I believe
this movie is a typical cinematic fantasy with magic and creatures and the lead actor is beyond gorgeous

again Zhang Linghe drama (MJTY), palace drama, transmigration, do-over, plot twists and a bit of intense male lead, not annoying strong female lead
great writing and music

the lovestory is very complicated and painful but I really loved the topics that were explored and the way she made him understand what it was to love and to be afraid etc

there is a certain plot twist which to me was bothersome but I understand why it was like that for the sake of the story and coming into it without spoilers from the book it made me a little regretful

REALLY interesting concept and premise and some hilarious situations thanks to it
kind of detective plots as they are uncovering a big drug conspiracy
Yunxi is as always amazing and the FL (and all her versions) is entertaining
great acting overall, really enjoyed it

First three episodes are confusing as hell because the narrative is taking an unusual approach. But once we understand the way the story is being told it turns into a really thrilling ride. I absolutely adored Bai Lu and her babygirl boytoy fragile husband. All the lesbians too.
Detective kind of drama with palace stuff and murders. Really strong female lead, this really was Bai Lu's role.

transmigration, fixing the past, do-over, revenge and romance, female is strong and not annoying and casting is good

Revenge drama of the highest calibre and Cheng Yi (MLC) is excellent in it. A lot of promising young actors in it which I came to love thanks to it. The production is amazing and very realistic. The sets are gorgeous in their own dark way. Most of the episodes kept me on the edge of my seat.

This is the drama that convinced me that Lusi is a good actress. I love Yuning but she was the one that truly carried this drama until the end. I loved the production and the way it was made in general. Really strong writing too.
Wasn't a fan of the ending but I'm choosing to ignore it (BE).

same as Untamed - bromance adaptation of a gay novel
this one is less faithful to the source material and the story suffers for it but the male leads compensate for it more than enough and their insane chemistry (diversion from book ep14 onwards)
again beware: very low budget and this one had even less money than Untamed to make do but they managed and worked hard to make the best of it
no fantasy or cultivators, just fight scenes and spies and some low magic stuff, soulmates, fateful meeting, dads have a son and daughter

with one of the actors from WoH
modern romantic drama with unexpectedly great story and acting and chemistry between the leads and the child actor

gay novel adaptation, one of the first after the start of censorship and I'm putting it on the list only because it paved the way so Untamed could run
this one is a mess honestly and around the end of production they even lost all the budget and had to finance it out of their own pockets
but all the mess is compensated by the main leads who are incredible together and now became huge stars in the industry
This drama was the first one to get extremely popular that it was taken down from platforms for a while
if nothing else it deserves a try
modern fantasy with gods/aliens, supernatural police and some ghosts but not really scary

this is a odd one on the list, a movie with the actor from YYM, modern drama comedy movie situated in Chongqing, I like the plot and atmosphere of the city and the native dialect along with the great cast and bromance chemistry
