my--very humble & respectful--top GL ranking of all time :)

#1 of all time. i was shocked to find that many people didn't connect with this series, calling it situationship propaganda lmfao. enemies to lovers is always so moving to me, you get to see the worst sides of each character and watch them fall in love despite it. love against all odds--self sabotage, work, duty--will never fail to make me tear up, and this story was no exception. LMSY are incredible & their on-screen chemistry is hard to compete with.

very close #2 of all time.

polar opposite in most ways to my #1, but wow. watching their love blossom and continue to bloom for over a decade... pin and anin hold the title for number one yearners in gl history. their love was tooth-rottingly sweet, they communicated, and when they fell short it was only out of misguided self-sacrifice for the others best interest. they didnt fight selfishly for their love, they fought selflessly for each other, the hardest when it hurt to do so; that is true love. this story and its cinematography... so beautiful. freenbecky, you are insurmountable.

strong #3 (considering both seasons as one entity). my most controversial take... but i refuse to tip my chin. this is such a moving and incredible story, love truly has no bounds :') their on-screen chemistry is off the charts & faye is without a doubt the best kisser in thai gl history, argue with the wall.

the rest of the list is non-comparable to the first three, however, this series is also still very well done. it has the most unique plot setting in gl thus far, and high risk pays off so well if done right.

out of all the gl on this list, this is one of the few that leans toward more realistic on the spectrum. good representation that love both comes and goes--it can be beautiful, it can be brutal, and eventually, it can even fade away and start a cycle anew with someone you didn't expect to be ready for.

one of the least problematic and polarizing gl couples, very sweet amidst a very beautiful, well-rounded story. undeniable tear jerker, sue me.

impeccable love story and creative direction. both characters were so well written, the narration of ai-oon's internal monologue and introspection makes this series so special + very big in the Me universe

wine is another big proponent of the Me universe, what can i say. very fun story yet still managed to have some deeper, more personal moments sprinkled in, which i love. janhae and jingjing are incredible on screen as well.

we will never be able to repay freenbecky for everything they have given to us. they were the catalyst in the creation of a space in the drama industry for gay women everywhere to see themselves and their stories on the big screen. thank you for proving that wlw representation could be just as successful monetarily amidst the years-reigning bl hierarchy. they revolutionized the game, nobody could compare :')

fluff of all fluff ever. this series was so sweet and genuinely hilarious, LMSY always delivers.

almost dropped after finishing episode 7, which would be a first if i didn't force myself to power through. i live, breathe, and die for a toxic, angsty romance, so i'm no stranger to miscommunication, but this series lost me once and almost didn't reel me back in. they were objectively awful for each other, but they were layered and in desperate need of healing. the plot storyline outside of their evil back-and-forth was genuinely good and the side couple was one you could actually root for, so not all hope was lost. i originally landed on a 6.5/10, but a ???/10 feels more accurate; this series feels impossible to rank and i am still confused on how to feel about it. its a shame that icememi are no longer going to be working together, they had incredible chemistry in this series.

debatably my favorite gl pair, but affair unfortunately just didn't do it for me in comparison to other series :'( i was shocked to learn that between the two, affair is generally received more positively than harmony secret from what i've seen, but alas. revisiting this after hometown romance is out, my stance is the same, but i do still appreciate this series for being among the handful to help pave the way for the gl's we know and love today--especially lmsy themselves; their projects truly get better and better with every release!!
