rank two recommendations.

these titles range from fairly good to well done. i categorize them all as number two but not entirely on equal footing. a range from seven and a half to nine.

the requirements to meet this list are similar to my rank ones. the work has to meet most of the following criteria: no to minimal production flaws, fully fleshed out story / well written, blemish-free and passionate intimacy, slower / intentional pacing, well-executed tropes, good preferably stellar acting, & free from sexual assault and other forms of predation.

these titles are worthy of being rank twos for their ability to engage the audience and invoke emotion.

as of 20 August 2026, i have not reviewed three of the five of these. i intend rewatch all of these to properly review the remaining.
