À dix-neuf ans, Bit devient stagiaire K-pop chez HISTAR Entertainment (2017-2018) sous le nom de Dowon.
Début 2021, il rejoint A+ Entertainment (에이플러스엔터테인먼트) et intègre le boys band The Bigdipper (더빅디퍼) sous le nom de Kim Bit, qu'il change ensuite en Kim Eun Bin. Le 27 octobre 2022, ils sortent leur EP de pré-début, « Shining Star ». Le groupe s'est dissous discrètement au cours du premier semestre 2023, et il a depuis décidé de se consacrer à sa carrière d'acteur, reprenant le nom de Kim Bit.
Le 27 septembre 2025, il a rejoint le Studio BLOSSOM en tant que nouvel artiste.
