Kang Yu Chan is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, former member of UNB (유앤비) and current member of A.C.E (에이스). He graduated from Jeju Central High School. Before debuting, he was a trainee at JYP Entertainment and was part of a popping dance crew called Alive87 (using the stage name Aka Buggy).

He made his debut in May 2017 as A.C.E's vocalist and maknae with their first single album, "Cactus". The group enjoyed initial success thanks to the agency's idea of going busking in Hongdae while covering well-known songs.

In 2017, he entered the singing survival show "The Unit" and ended up in 9th place, earning a spot in the show's resulting project group. He re-debuted in April 2018 as UNB's main vocalist and lead dancer with their first mini-album, "Boyhood". The group's contract was planned for one year, but they officially disbanded in January 2019 when the members' agencies could not reach an agreement to extend the contract's duration.

He made his acting debut in 2018 with a minor role in the KBS drama "Marry Me Now?" but is best known for his role in the 2020 web drama "Twenty-Twenty".

He enlisted for his mandatory military service on August 16, 2022, and was discharged on February 15, 2024.

While serving, Beat Interactive (비트 인터렉티브) announced that he was dropping his stage name (Chan) and started using his full name instead.
