Agree with this, the ml from welcome to samdalri is the worst example of this. Say what you want about the ml of QOT but atleast he wasn't a lovestruck bore like the recent ml's.

The writers introduced those obstacles to add angst, but without her cancer storyline, the female lead already had enough challenges to face. Now, the cancer storyline feels like a convenient way for the main leads to start connecting. With not many episodes left, I don't see how it's going to be convincing now. The show is also missing the beauty of a slow burn that was nonexistent in the early episodes, so even if they get together now, it feels unsatisfying.

That 'slow burn' excuse is such a cop-out. Even the slowest shows, like Call It Love, have clear signs of attraction or some pining between the ML and FL. But here we are, 10 episodes in, and nope—just the ML pining away. This honestly feels like the most one-sided drama ever.

Well, good for them, at least that means the rumor won't end up overshadowing the show.

But naver chatter on their lack of chemisty was loud, they certainly know that, you think actors don't follow discussions around their show?

Well I bet they know if the criticism they had for not having chemisty, and now there's dating allegation, the media play could not be more obvious.

The timing of this is sus given the criticism episode 8 got.

They have dating rumours now 😂😂 is the excessive promo not working, that they have to come up with this to increase the ratings.

It was aight, I'm leaning towards not liking it so far. I don't want to judge too quickly though, I just hope the next episode is better.

she was amazing as usual but the drama wasn't well recieved in SK. An annoying snub was ffmw, considering all the cast was nominated that year.

It's annoying but she did get nominated last yr and her phenomenal performance in mln was acknowledged. Hopefully for qot she does get some wins at the upcoming awards.

If you're on about baeksang as u said the female category was much more competitive. I mean Kim taeri performance in revenant was in another level. Park Boyoung and hyojoo were good too. She was just unlucky this yr maybe if qot fully aired she'd have a chance.

Yh arthdal wasn't well recieved, too much drama surrounding it didn't help. Funnily enough I like it much more than QOT. If jiwon is in talks for a drama then that'd record time!

I feel like she's sorta been A list atleast for dramas since Ffmw, since she always works in high profile projects with arthdal being one of them,but she got unlucky with it and it slowed her momentum. But now with her status I feel like she can afford to be more selective/even picky since I'm sure she's getting flooded with offers. With the interview, she alluded to wanting to do crime and that'll happen just like she hinted in one of her mln interviews that she wanted to next play an outspoken character.

No it's fair, this drama would've been the perfect follow up from qot, and her working with a legend like JDY and other veterans would've been so ideal. Idk she has alot in with the fm stuff so in the next couple of months it looks like a busy one. I think as usual her new drama confirmation will come at the end of the yr hope she surprises us and it's earlier though.

It's so overdue surely nows the time she's proven time and time again her chemistry with her ML's. I'm kinda ngl disappointed she rejected the drama with JDY cause the rest of the cast looks so good.
