Yes it was sadly. Call me a masochist but I did watch all that. The last part of 2022 and 2023 have been underwhelming with a few exceptions.

Ep 6 made me realize how corny and cringy love is

GMMTV has truly mastered the BL formula, not a single flop this year (besides a couple of Our skyy 2 eps)

This is a bit like the game of thrones of BL great start, super promising, everyone was hooked, they even dared to leave people on a cliffhanger for a month. All BL fans left screaming.
And suddenly everything went downhill, classic cliche tropes, after all the climax they finally accept their love after 20 years and felt like nothing, like jon snow coming back from the dead just to do nothing.
2023 has been really underwhelming for BL if we compare it to 2022. GMMTV and a couple Korean shows are the only things that have been kinda good, hope the year improves.
The promise in the end failed to deliver.

Rating keeps dropping and I wonder am I crazy for believing this was a solid story, had character development some how, and that concluded the general story in a cute way?
It wasn’t full of fan service I know and tbh this ship gives me the old couple vibe ( maybe cuz they have been friends for such a long period of time) they are nice to each other without kissing every 2 secs.
Any way, may be I’m the misfit and don’t like what everybody else does, so I’ll make my peace with that.

I was hopeful the ending was going to be somehow decent, but after reading the comments I’m glad I stopped at ep 5.

My fav is still the eclipse (but cuz all of the firstkhao fan service) but regarding story, funniness etc this was a really solid episode.I thought I was going to be super disappointed but again this was a good surprise. (Even the product placement and the merchandise wasn’t that bad)

Mmmm half way though, the mums face when she finds them is on of the best scenes I’ve ever seen.

This is one of those really bad shows that you actually need to watch because you end up some how enjoying them if what I say makes some kind of sense hahahahahahaha

This show could have been called “everyone wants to nail Nanfah”
