The ML's book not doing well was foreshadowing that the movie itself would not do well. I will give it a comfortable 6.0/10 just being generous. But it was possibly the most boring Lee Dong Wook's movie out there.
I am not going to watch it after reading about the FL character.
I have also watched to the end too. It started out well. I could have said its a beautiful story had it turned out differently. Btw you basically said nothing to defend the FL. Yes, she was expelled. Thats also what I said. Was there anything preventing her to reach out to the ML? I think she's just egoistic and self-centered.
Stop watching drama and achieve something in life instead of commenting like this ..may be u can chose whatever…
I could say the same thing to you. You felt to comment the same way the one you're replying to is doing. What hurts you is that the comment isn't to your liking. But thats the freedom of speaking your mind. You don't always have to fancy everyone's ideas or opinions. You can try to listen to it to understand where they're coming from or simply just respect it. On a lighter tone, even your comment is just an opinion, and you're very much welcomed to do so.
I dislike everyone now.... I dont even want to finish the show
I feel you. I started liking it but towards the end it got boring. Oh, how much potential it had. It would have been my favorite show but after ep 21 it became totally different to how I pictured it.
I am not going to watch it after reading about the FL character.
She was expelled, wasn't she? The ML followed her to the big city for her to follow her dreams. That didn't work. If she wanted to work things with ML, she could have. Its not like the ML went to hiding and couldn't reach out to him as he was in his hometown. In short, the ML always had to chase her and she always had to chase her career. Nothing wrong with it, but if it is at the expense of someone you love, I think it won't add up in the end. At the end, she couldn't get that education, she could have striven or at least tried to show an effort to make things work with ML. Good for him if they didn't end up together as I saw the efforts were one sided.

But she didn't have to go to that big city. She could have stayed in Fucheng with him. She could have chosen him instead of the city. Many of the characters made it even in that hometown. The story explains that those that left the factory succeeded, and not the town itself.
Why did I feel like I was being abandoned towards the end? I was sad yet happy with the ending. Most of all when I saw how he got old and still remained to cherish his wife really touched me. It really embodied the idea of doing life with someone. Laughing, crying, fighting, making up with them and building memories that one can look back at them when they're old and gray. You can only appreciate all the turmoil and hardships after they've all past and you had the person you loved right there with you. Most of these romance shows makes us appreciate dating someone and falling in love with them. And it ends right after they're married. But this show made us appreciate the idea of marriage and if you doing it right with someone right it can be something magical. Good night everyone. Let's now wait for the special episodes to drop next week. P.S the show replacing Queen of Tears on tvn Network is The Midnight Romance in Hagwon. I hope you all get to enjoy that too.
How sure are you? There are already some speculations online that they got back together with her ex. Actually, it is believed all participants went back to their ex except for Kwangtae after the show. HW and DJ didn't last. Also, DHxDJ seemed to have gotten back together after the show.
Spoken like someone who's never had an ex or in love. She wasn't his 2nd option. He just had lingering feelings…
We're all making an assumption about someone's life and forming an opinion. I don't think of any what you said counts because her actions and the decision she made did not match. She was swayed by her ex, which is okay as they had been dating for a long time. Juwon was too. Maybe by the memories. It was three weeks of staying together, so it could not possibly match three years of knowing someone. Plus her firmness wasn't because she deeply cared about Juwon. It's because she wanted to move on from her ex and she was attracted to Juwon. So Juwon looked like a better fit for her as it aligned with her goal of moving on to a new relationship. On the other hand, Juwon still wanted to get back with his ex since the beginning. So what they had were different goals that ultimately made the relationship to fail. Making someone a second option is demeaning and completely insensitive to the participants in my opinion. You must understand their feelings and you must have been in the same position to understand. That's why I made an assumption that you may have never loved someone for you to understand where he was coming from. You're just looking from one angle. Anyway, I apologize for making an assumption about your life. It stings when someone judges you right? especially without knowing what you went through. Same case we don't know what either of the participants, and in this case Juwon and Seokyung went through in their 3 years relationship. Juwon must have deeply loved her and that cannot change overnight. Sorry for losing your boyfriend. May you find the peace and light you deserve.
Spoken like someone who's never had an ex or in love. She wasn't his 2nd option. He just had lingering feelings for his ex which made him confused. You can say the same about Yujung if you used the same metric you're using. Juwon was the 2nd option for her. I mean the final choice clearly shows it.
