God the consensus is so split for this drama i cant decide to watch it or not.

understandable ill probably keep watching this even though the storyline isnt amazing so far its my favorite kind of trope. Main character that cant stand injustice.

ive reached a consensus this drama is pretty good an 8.5 the bare minimum. It doesnt drag on the story great action in first episode and one sided romance already started by second episode main villain is not only revealed but the ml has already found him, also not your common combat based villain nor is it the generic political power. The wolf hiding in sheeps clothing. Also this role fits lee sang yi well He does the cold calculated character justice.

I thought it was gna be boring cause the first episode was long and no action during first episode, till the end lmao. Well worth the wait thats some good camera production right there

yea he was just standing by this whole time he could have been number one at the school and stopped the bullying but i think his aim was vigilantism and to ultimatelty take revenge on someone

about the self harm i think it was a silhoutte of his brother choking him, so im assuming it was trauma from physical abuse?

that part i get but in episode 4 the stuff with the brother i dont get, from gyeoms perspective we see 2 sides one where his older brother was nice to him in his dreams and another where the silhoutte of his older brother is choking him and his mother was also speaking to the therapist about something going on between the two brothers although its not explicitly mentioned im wondering if the older brother physically abused him when he was going through alot at medical school

could also be he needed someone to control, maybe shield the trouble for him hes obviously not filled with empathy and care for people he has a hidden agenda

this is exactly what i thought less the school stuff but the family dynamic is really interesting so is the school stuff though especially curious about 2nd ml backstory

2nd ML, Kang Yun Gi. Where does he lack of fear and overconfidence come from? Im not sure if hes the usual op character hiding his power or the writers doing a double bluff and hes a weak but smart guy whos experienced much scarier things in life that hes lost his sanity or smth

His mother is a bystander knows her son is in pain but doesn't try to intervene, not just that but theres an interesting thing mothers do where they victimize themselves tend to think their children have some sort of resentment towards them. She suddenly lashes out and says he blames her for something? A form of abuse, Very interesting
His father although so far not physically abusive is mentally abusive putting a burden so heavy and an expectation that shouldn't be on a child. His son got bullied which he obviously knows and his reply was dont get into trouble like me. Yea good one
The dynamic of the family to me so far is hyper realistic, I know since i lived it.

This is very interesting so far i much prefer it over weak hero and study group. Far more realistic, ml is less corny with the edgy stuff he seems more like what someone who went through trauma would be like.
