I don't think it's SML's baby. It's ML's.

Prince An is just a Prince, not an Emperor.

The ML is playing a neutral at the moment just like Emperor Yongzhen when he was a Prince.

Prince An is an old fox. The way he got rid of Mu Hai Yao is meow! He knows she killed his son's only official heir/ son and has done so many wrong doings and yet he is unable to execute her because he needs her family's support.

With one opportunity, the girl is demoted to be a commoner and Official Mu is unable to do anything at all.

Peter Ho is quite good in this drama but he is not as ruthless and imposing as I would like him to portray his character. I hope to see these characteristics in later episodes.

Overall, BD is entertaining and I love it! The FL doesn't cutie acts which is a blessing!

Xifei's Royal Love in the Palace? The scriptwriter must have changed the setting but the story is loosely based on the same novel.

I think I read the actual novel before so it was based on the mother of Emperor Yongzheng, Emperor Kangxi's concubine, who was a lowly maid, before she served the emperor.

The FL in BD is also a lowly concubine to Prince Xin and her former admirer, Lu Gongzhi, is the adviser to the Prince.

Maybe your preference isn't the same as mine but the FL in the SoT isn't as experienced as the FL in BD. That's why I find SoT rather boring.

BD meanwhile makes me more excited for the next tricks by the junior princes to gain the attention of Prince An.

The storyline is similar to The Yongzhen Dynasty. Except it's not as awesome as TYD.

Aiyah, the title of the novel basically says the FL and ML ending up being together.

I love it! Especially the way Prince An took care of Mu Hai Yiao, the concubine in Episode 12.

I am enjoying this series which has a more entertaining storyline compared to the Scent of Time which is boring.

This drama should enjoy a higher rating at least 8.

The father, Prince An has so many sons. At least 10, so far.

I think 8.0 is a fair rating. The story is loosely based on Emperor Kang Xi and his sons who fought for his throne.

You're biased against him but I totally agree! Peter's acting has improved so much since he started filming in China.

I think the husband loves HQ but she never knew this in her previous life.

The FL is good for not doing the cutie acts. Thank God for that.

I am dropping this series because the story is more or less the same as the Lost Track of Time.

I cannot see the fuss and and feel angst experienced by Mu Yao and Hua Qian.

I find this kind of storyline ie. travelling back to the previous lifetime to save the future is so predictable.

Plus actors in Yuzheng's productions can be a bit overacting like the FL in The Yanxi Palace.

Too bad, the ML is a fine young actor. He was so good in One and Only.

Mu Yao is boring. I cannot stand this character.

All I know is both 1st and 2nd MLs have a dimple on their chin! So handsome.
