Otherwise, he would not have done so knowing that Wufeng has practically destroyed or absorbed most of the minor sects.

If he goes alone, these minor sects will go to GSJ. But, he is a Gong and he knows about the power of the Infinite Heat.

I don't think the Infinite Heat is GZY. I think he is the only person who can master the weapon because he can stand the heat but not the cold.
