I think the romance is overplayed in this drama. C-costume dramas are dropping in quality as the are becoming more idol dramas than quality dramas.

Plus, he also wants Prince Lie, his 9th brother, marries SXH's sister. Bringing the nanny into the palace will mean SXH's sister will lose someone close to her. So, marrying Prince Lie would be the ideal solution since both are interested in horses and meet SXH's father's original objective ie. to have Prince Lie as his son-in-law.
