Nothing exciting in this drama so far. In some dramas, MLs dominate the entire stage but in this drama, the ML doesn't. I don't feel excited at all seeing his scenes. In fact, I skipped most of his scenes.

WXY was good in One and Only as he was a 2nd ML as well as in TKP. But, not in this drama.

The FL? I find her expression boring. C-costume dramas have got a lot of leading actresses apart from Jing Tian and Zhao Liying.

Would love to see Jing Tian take over this FL role.

Choi Yoo Hwa speaks good Mandarin.

I laughed at the name of the animals that ended with 'ong'. Gorong = gorilla; Girong = giraffe; Sloth = Slothong; Lion =Lionong.

And the polar bear drinking the Coca Cola? The lawyer in the suit was thirsty so he seized a bottle of Coke and drank it. One visitor saw him drinking the coke so he snapped some pictures and posted them on Instagram.

I love the part where the zoo staff in gorilla suit attacked the convenience store and he remembered to take away the CCTV. The police didn't believe the owner when he said the gorilla took away the CCTV recording,

I just can't stop noticing the ML's nose. Plastic surgery due to medical reasons?

Their recent dramas have been mediocre. Not worth watching. The Long River is way too political to be an entertainment.

Totally agree with you as the taxi driver doesn't look like a big villain. I think someone else is the big boss and definitely not the Prosecutor or the Vice Chairman of the KH pharmaceutical company.

They look too clumsy to be a big villain compared to the drug guy who stole JK's gun.

I just discovered K-dramas two months ago so I am into them at the moment.

C-dramas have become too long-winded and the acting is almost homogenous across all dramas especially those with new actors.

I miss the Chinese veteran actors from the top acting schools in China. These days the drama and acting are so boring.

No, Jiang Li is the Di daughter ie. a daughter born to the official wife. So, Di daughters marry Di sons or someone from their social status. Unless the Shu sons are exceptional people like top scholars.

Shu daughters are those born to concubines who have a lesser status in the household. They tend to marry men from the same status as theirs. Except some marry well like Ming Lan from the Story of Ming Lan.
