Appreciate your narrative of what a makjang/soap opera is. I love any type of symbolism and this drama does mimic other dramas….for me it’s the glorifying of the main villian that’s gut wrenching.

Guessing most men would not take KSR home to meet their mothers…she’s good for one night stands and mistress affairs.

Oh my…the hit and run of SY is just the beginning of KSR’s Karmas for switching babies, her affair with the cheating husband, murdering DJ’s father, attempted kidnapping and murder of DJ, deceiving Gullible Granny by switching DNA and setting up the chaebol, stealing things that don’t belong to her, locking up Yohan and DJ in cold storage and other evil deeds.
LOL at the crazy KSR’s mom at the police station…time to start throwing each under the bus. Now KSR like the classic narcissist sociopath is seeking revenge and blaming others for her failed schemes….guessing this will backfire and she’ll eventually get caught up in her own web…will take more episodes to unwind all her crimes individually
Meanwhile even though DJ seems to still not trust men…she’s slowly thawing to Yohan. But will she resent him not telling her about SY’s death. So many possibilities…will the be the beginning of KRS being the complicit mastermind of pure evil be revealed????

This drama like other similar plots knows there’s folks like us who embellish through wishful thinking…I actually feel sorry for chaebol cousin because he was taken advantage while drunk. KSR has no conscience and no morals..she’s just unadulterated pure EVIL…just like her stupid ditsy greedy ghetto mother. It looks like from the next trailer that DJ does get her voice back…and hopefully shared about her abduction…Yohan is creating the timelines with solid evidence of crimes…thing is KSR is deflecting to others. Will be interesting scenario IF DJ will accept Yohan’s help…he seems to be the only one with a brain.
Was KSR’s DNA and fingerprints all over the items in the discarded purse? I think it’s going to be a slow grind to reconstruct what actual evidence is still out there and what strings Yohan can pull to get the evidence needed to investigate KSR.
Also guessing that KSR know’s she’s next and how will chaebol accept her “ex” the cheating husband, a daughter, once the investigation gets started. Another scenario is that either KSR will try to escape with SY …or SY runs away gets injured or worse…and wind up in the ER requiring blood or identification.
So many possibilities…but I could stand to watch this drama is there was LESS villain scenes with KSR on a pedestal….puhleez.

There are so many cringy KSR moments, and most don’t make any logical sense. Getting the chaebol drunk and either pretending or engaging in sex is sexual abuse. If KSR did abuse the chaebol and get pregnant…will he be forced into a relationship…if so will stupid cheating husband flip on her to get his own revenge. But knowing this screenwriter KSR will not be held accountable till the very end. If nothing else, he will have to back off pursuing DJ. DJ actually needs Yohan if she’s going to be successful with actual revenge. Will the stupid KSR mom flip to save her own hide or go to jail for KSR? Will Gullible Granny continue to defend KSR after the mom was arrested or make the connection between DJ’s missing…the mom returning with KSR timing. Will the lingering question about the mother’s (KSR) paternity for SY surface. This is Woman in A Veil all over again….SMH

I gagged my way through the KSR and mom and stupid husband scenes. Johan is the only one with a brain…DJD needs to marry him as soon as the ink is final on the divorce so he can protect her legally.
I’ve about had it with Gullible Granny’s vulnerability and stupidity to let a thief, mistress, murderer back into her home.
Can’t wait to see KSR’s reaction when DJD shows up in the flesh. I hope DJD was able to keep the original flash drive or it will be found at the crime scene by Johan. Hopefully DJD got some sense knocked into her and she will gather all her evidence BEFORE resurfacing and going back. I get a visceral reaction every time KSR the villain is portrayed as the “victim “….and Granny protects her unconditionally.

Jury is still out on this one…but it’s not as frustrating as the third marriage.

Wonder if DJD was rescued and by whom…and was she sent to same facility as the former adoption caretaker for her Dad and KSR’s Dad? If so, will DJD run into Noel and have amnesia or PTSD…??? How did Yohan find DJD at that facility? The screenwriter is obviously toying with us viewers.
C’mon it’s mid point and how many more people will be fooled by KSR, her momma, cheating husband. I hope chaebol shuts down KSR like a fart in the wind. Said earlier Yohan is the only one with a brain. Hope he fires stupid cheating husband…will he really let SY go with KSR? Does cheating husband get the laptop or did Yohan get there in time???? So many unanswered questions…too many stupid people manipulated by an evil psychopath
…I’d be perfectly happy to see KSR fall on her own sword and be on the run after kidnapping SY….

This drama is bizarre…continues to glorify evil villians as crafty and smart. Tired of watching evil portrayed as justifiable behavior. Let me know when the true vengeance and revenge for DJD starts….stop portraying kindness as weakness. What was the screenwriter high on when he/she wrote this last episode.

I started but, had to go back and rewatch to try and make the connections between the sisters and parents etc…I think the time jump made the storyline confusing 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s a complicated drama, but well done. Deals with mental trauma, revenge, and lots of mystery. It’s a weekend show, so cliffhangers are good. Unlike this drama where villains are glorified.

EXACTLY…why on earth are the villains still glorified? I would love to see KSR…her mother…uncle….and stupid cheating husband finger pointing at each other.
Watch My Happy Ending, another mind bending drama….

There are soooo many holes in the plot. I sure hope DJD does NOT remarry the cheating husband because that means she’s still thinks she’s friends with KRS…gives me the shivers to think about that. This is one time I hope you’re wrong🙏🏽

There’s still the issue of SY’s blood type, baby switching discovery, Noel’s search for her daughter, the role Noel’s “husband” played in KSR’s Dad’s death, who will win DJD between the cousins,, watching KRS being rejected by the chaebol… and Gullible Granny’s DNA dilemma when she finds out KSR is not her granddaughter…so lots of fodder to chew on. The halfway mark will be the trigger for uncovering the truths…drip, drip, drio. I still think the front desk secretary and Yohan will be key to unraveling some of the crucial evidence.

Watching now and screaming at the TV, How do people get as EVIL as KSR. This is like Man in a Veil and Woman in a Veil….this drama needs a pathological villain to keep it going. The level of stupidity and naivety is astounding. The only one with a brain is Yohan. Hope those “survival words” Yohan spoke in the freezer when they were trapped…will resonate with DJD as she’s pushed into the water. I actually think things will pick up fast now that KSR will probably be the main suspect by Yohan since DJD mentioned going to the police. The stupid cheating husband will also be suspect and he now knows that KSR doesn’t want him and will throw him under the bus. Just wondering who and how DJD will be rescued….and if she’ll be comatose or have amnesia.

Looks like we’re getting close to the “drowning “ scene and DJD letting go of the flash drive. She will be rescued or hopefully this is just a dream. Just hope she doesn’t have amnesia like her Mom Noel. Wondering who will be the person rescuing her….
Wonder where the search for the daughter’s blood type will lead. What is KRS’s blood type? Things are getting interesting and the plot is thicker.
I don’t want to see the ML cousins fighting over DJD. Hope they can clear the air and DJD can move forward with Yohan and discover that Anna is her biological daughter.

Face plant..🤦🏽‍♀️…I hope not…hopefully this will take on the direction of a DNA search for truth. I’m beginning to like the twists a d turns….🤷🏽‍♀️

Also he is adamant about not letting Noel know about her past husband DJ’s father and about DJ…why would he pay the investigator to stall the search for information. Just guessing…but I think he killed SR’s father and is instrumental in Noel’s amnesia.
