I was disappointed too but now when I am watching Kim Jae Won in "The Art Of Sarah", I think it might…
Tsk, you were the one who brought up kim goeun as shield but now I’m whining? Yeah I’m whining, we could have gotten better male lead because kim jaewon doesn’t have the capital for this role. The original shin sunrok is 29 y.o and only 3 years younger than yumi so how could he be suitable?
Hmm I think filing for love is quite interesting since audit background is rare. As for sold out on you, the description sounds so cliche with the keyword perfect and ceo, but if the comedy is funny it might work

I think you seriously underestimate kim goeun. She debuted with main role in critically acclaimed film, A Muse and received several best new actress award including baeksang and blue dragon film award. Her accolades precedes her popularity, and with film actors being more respected than tv actors in sk, no one would say she is too early to have main role in any tv drama, they would only think that she is transitioning.
Another aspect is that Goblin is stand alone series, while Yumi Cells is a popular series with two previous season. This level of resources is several times higher, with high guarantee of success. The previous male leads of yumi cells also set a precedent.
Now, what experience does kim jaewon have? Aside from several supporting role where he is virtually invisible, he only has lead role in Hierarchy, where his performance could be said to be underwhelming. You know, this might be bias, but I hate it the most when actress popularity is used to support this kind of unknown actor.
My only peeve with this bit of news is - how do you get to say "upcoming blockbuster" so easily?! I mean,…
I even thought blockbuster meaning was the latter. Tbh it’s not really wrong since back in the day with less competition, big budget and hype basically means success
I have seen this kind of plot in drama Good Casting. The manager is actually cartel spy and he has been using his identity as actor’s manager to travel worldwide without looking suspicious. And he was then killed by cartel but the actors got blamed saying he must have bullied the manager until he offed himself.

In case you can’t tell, this is a joke
