It's a scandal in Korea China Japan because they can loss endorsement and fan love then to not have a love life……
Lee seunggi scandal wasn’t about him dating, he was even an exception since knetz gave lot of blessing when he dated yoona. It was because his wife family defrauded lot of people with stock manipulation amounting to 2 billion won, causing several victim to commit su*cide
After knowing him from doaff and seeing his subsequent works, I’m always amazed at this guy stamina and capabilities to film all these drama back-to-back. He even shot 3 very different works, whc2, doaff and wlgyt at the same time. I thought he must be very talented.
Recently he was asked whether he even has the energy to do all these. He answered that since he used to have long stretches without work, so even if it’s tiring, he’ll do all these work so as to not regret it. I think he is the first actor that not just like, but I truly respect. Hoping for Lee Junyoung to have greater success!
Ma dongseok would be in bulky category not just masculine thoI feel like there are quite a lot masculine korean…
Hmm the one I mentioned is definitely masculine in the drama I watched. Maybe if you just looked at the pictures you can’t see that.
I did try to include actors from all age group I think of. You might need to wait for the masculine genz cause the 1997 born would only start go to military next year. For genz, my best bet would be kwak dongyeon, lee junyoung, lee jaewook, and lomon. I have seen their drama and they look quite masculine with the right roles
The only thing released this year that’s comparable to reply 1988 is when life give you tangerines. I assume you haven’t watched much of this genre to make this statement
Alright, now that the drama is over, can we talk about what went wrong here?I won’t lie — this was a drama…
Your last paragraph made me curious so I looked at heo namjun profile. He isn’t too newbie, 93-born and 2019-debut with some supporting and main role. But agree he doesn’t reflect his experience at all in this drama
I honestly have a hard time watching c-dramas. They have too many episodes, the acting is not that great and cringy,…
Same, I started watching cdrama around 2017 and liked few chinese actors, who to my disappointment doesn’t really improve..
I start coming back to kdrama in 2022 and there are so many new talented young actors. I really liked seeing the progress of someone in their acting craft

Yepp majority are dubbed, international people might not pay much attention because they’re busy reading subtitles.
There a re a lot of criticism surrounding chinese actors especially when it comes to different dialect dubbing. Because if you don’t even put effort to learn the basic character setting, are you really actor? There was even a famous case where actor would just say 12345 and then got dubbed. Well now it’s not so extreme though

I like cdrama and usually those popular ones are called idol drama in china, so basically you have mediocre but popular actor starring in it
The cdrama that’s filled with senior actors are usually better! But when it comes to younger gen actors, korean really has it better. Just comparing their eagerness to learn, in china they rely on dubbing while korean actor need to learn the dialects and if it’s historical drama they need to learn proper tone for it.
I still like both Kdramas and Cdramas. I think Kdramas often have innovative or different storylines, shorter…
It’s because jdrama rarely has good budget because they gatekeep everything instead of trying to reach global audiences. So unless it’s produced by netflix or warnerbros, it’s gonna look cheap as hell
Of course there are still gem if you look for it, but it’s getting tiring now to look for drama illegally. I usually just look at what’s available on streaming platform. Btw my last jdrama shoujiki fudousan was quite good!
Agree with kim dohoon being a better actor and more handsome tho

I feel like there are quite a lot masculine korean actors, like hyunbin, gongyoo, jang hyuk, jo insung, woo dohwan, jin goo, ji changwook, ahn bohyun
You can’t call them effeminate or cute right? Or is there other category I should be aware of?
I just saw he is way past 30 so I assume he went
