Considering how well they explored other character dynamics like Gyeom with Jeong Hu, Director Ma, Mubee’s Mom,…
Yeah if their friendship had been more explored at the beginning, gyeom’s character would have been more complex. I felt that choi wooshik finally showed his acting prowess in ep6&7 on ko jun issue. I would have liked to see how he handle such complex character from the beginning of the series
Well bluntly said, good review usually means going for award. Which director or actor don’t want that, this kind of movie is usually made with this in mind. i just checked sjk’s previous movie loh kiwan, it seems to have the same theme. Well unfortunately bogota wasn’t good enough for award, and this kind of theme hardly do good in theaters without some sort of accolades
I feel sad that gyeom relationship with sijun and jua is not explored further… the fact that he visited sijun studio everyday after his breakup with jua so that he won’t be too lonely and also how he feels after losing his friend jua after her breakup with sijun… I really wanna see his view on this
Started watching it last night and couldn’t finish the 1st episode. The ML character drove me bonkers.
His character can actually be more engaging if they focused on his emotion from the beginning… How he handle his brother’s ‘unseemingly’ accident, how he took care of him in coma, how he took care sijun over the years by visiting him everyday, how he felt when he lost his friend son jua after her breakup with sijun.
They really lost a lot not focusing on gyeom emotions, especially with his outwardly happy appearance, it could create nice contrast
Ahh it’s immigration story. They probably made it because they thought they could get good reviews like Minari did. Unfortunately this kind of story needs a very solid script to stand out, which bogota probably doesn’t have
Why is d rating here so bad when comments and reviews are actually good?
To be honest I haven’t watch obs so I can’t compare it. i think the problem is how the narrative flow. The flow makes it hard to relate to the characters.
For me I don’t think gyeom and mubee backstory should be in the beginning. I would have liked if it immediately started with the attraction between the two, then when the ghosting happens, they show us their backstory and how they feel about this. I also feel they missed the chance to show how sijun and jua character handle their breakup and friendship with gyeom. After kojun accident, I would have liked if they shows how they were dealing with their own problem but still try to take care of gyeom. But this part is somehow very short. I would have liked to see gyeom character development when he takes care of his brother during his coma and hospitalization. Taking care of patients is very hard, if they showed us the memories of gyeom and his brother when he was young, gyeom character would have been more interesting from early on.
Even sijun character, instead of showing us montage of their dating days in ep 9, they could have shown it before they meet again after 5 years. Show us sijun wallowing in pity in his studio, reminiscing their dating days, and then their breakup. After that jua suddenly appeared again, it would make us better relate to him mad that everyone just accepting jua’s come back. I also hoped to see gyeom character development when taking care of sijun, after all there is a reason why he visited sijun everyday. We could have seen his perspective on sijun and jua relationship, and also how their breakup affected their friendship, after all he also lost a friend.
u have to be kidding meeee omgggg, i only stayed for the second couple and thats what i get????? im soo mad!!!!!…
The second couple chemistry was wasted… and the way the story use montage… it’s not my type, back and forth timeline with each character background peeled in each ep would’ve been more compelling in my mind
Finished watching this drama just now, I'm sad for the 2nd couple.. they deserved a happy ending 🥲
They’re together in my mind 🥲 Despite how people said it was better for them to be apart, I think they won’t be able to find such love again and could never love someone else as much as they did to each other
I don't want the two of them to break up, but I understand Joo-ah in my head, so I thought it was right to break…
It’s the opposite for me, I understand jooah decision with my heart, I would have probably did the same. But my brain is telling me that such love won’t come twice… and that they both won’t ever be able to love someone else as much as they did to each other

I love this one the most
