The first time I watched it few months back but finally dropped it after episode 30. Becos I found the ML too poorly dressed with loose fitting dress n bad hairstyle, so I was not able to get into the leads as pair, this time I tried to watch it again n viola i completed it this time n liked it overall. But tbh I still liked mofang more, though I liked XZ too, but I being someone who don't develop 2nd lead syndrome developed it here😅. Anyway, the most fun ckt was furong jun, I loved him😭🤣heyu nailed that ckt. It's a better drama this year than many others for me. Oh it's OST was the best one amongst this year's dramas ost. All of the BGM were so addicting n feelsy.

Anyway dropped after episode 13. Since I didn't have any interest left for main couple even after them getting together n the popular steamy scene and I already have an idea of what's going to happen in remaining episodes anyway, so had no interest to continue.

First in real world she was jst a stalker who was jst attracted to someone handsome, but when the guy actually was thrown off the building, she didn't even report to the police fearing for herself. Bt then she gets into the novel n starts shamelessly pursuing the same looking guy whom she wasn't able to save or help in anyway so can't even say she liked him bt was jst obsessed with his good looks. N it wasn't funny for me, becos she wants to replace the fl of the novel chuchu she fakes to be good to the novel FL n helps her, also she very well knows chuchu likes Situ aoran n even agreed to give them her blessing, pretending to be her frnd bt still backstabs her by being happy to actually replace the fl of the novel n get aorans attention n love. (Chu Chu was right to call her 2 faced) Sorry she is jst not FL material. She don't even have a backbone, she is really shameless n so i wasn't able to root for ml n fl. Though I liked the second ML, qing feng but it's good he didn't get the selfish FL, becos he surely deserved better than this fake, selfish pretentious FL. Good escape Qing Feng. That FL deserved that rude n another selfish ML only. ML was another masterpiece. He first gave all the attention to the novel FL chuchu, toyed with her, gave her false hopes, n then becos of selfish FL xiao en's meddling started liking her being the fickle minded he was n wen he saw 2nd ML his own best frnd having feelings for FL, ZXE, he still backstabbed his frnd to snatch her too away from him.(First chuchu whom QF liked then selfish FL too when he started liking her n always rescued her n was there for her) I mean ML n FL were so well suited backstabbing n selfish bitches, they really deserve each other. But it's first time I hate this ml n fl both n cant even root for them. N making chuchu evil jst to make these selfish ML n FL look good totally failed for me. Though I didn't like over sweet n pretentious chuchu too, but imagine if she wasn't pretentious or evil, they both really did bad to her. If she would have been shown good, everyone would have hated those two, ml n fl for playing with her feelings. Anyway, I will still end this show to see if I like selfish ML n FL by the end n specially for 2nd ML qing feng, want to see his happy ending.

Same but I felt some scenes where she was under the spotlight fell flat becos of her robotic acting like her scene with mu sheng wen she gets to know he was half demon, she neither looked like a loving elder sister nor looked convincing as the one who really felt bad for her brother. That scene could have been quite emotional with better actress but she made it fall flat🙂

The CP is very popular rn becos of their chemistry n 2nd Collab n offscreen promo clips, becos the hello Saturday episode of them appearing got highest viewership of this year for that show. So to earn more money n make CP/ leads fans more happy they r shooting this variety show.
Y'all crying about ending jst becos they didn't show his face 😭 while I wanted to see a happy ending in the book, as to a small glimpse of all ckts after the heavenly disaster was overcome. Also in real world I expected her to see even fuyi n mu yao as real life happy couple like she saw cuicui n his grandpa. They robbed us of all this too. I already knew they would give us that kind of ending, honestly I don't have a prblm with ending or lack of kiss scene. But the story telling was a bit childish. I expected lbfad kinda story telling where u feel the intense love between the leads n want to cry at few scenes, but here I didn't cry for anyone. No one left that kind of impact n i blame the director or scriptwriter for this. Not the actors. They did the best they could with the given script.
Finally binge watched episodes 25 to 32 yesterday till late night and idk wat to say! I have mixed feelings about the drama. It's not too good of a drama but not too bad too. Some things n scenes I really liked specially the starting episodes till ep 12 n then the 5 ending episodes were well shot too. But the story overall is a type of mess n some things don't make a sense but you have to make it make sense🤣. I have still many unanswered questions n like evryone else few complaints. But it ended anyway so no use. So overall I enjoyed it specially becos of Ysx and DYX only. If it were any lesser actors in this drama i would have dropped it when in between the episodes became boring n bit childish. So storywise it's 8/10 for me but becos of both lead actors it's 9/10 rating from me.
