Title The Family Game
Loved this. Binged this in one sitting just like 3 Nen A Gumi. Straightforward plot, but expressed in a very meaningful and heartfelt way. The acting for all the Numata family members and Yoshimoto is brilliant. This is a must watch for any family imho.

Binged this all in one setting. I'm officially in love with Suda Masaki now and moving onto more of his works. He's such a beast in acting, and this role was absolutely perfect for him. He conveys Ibuki's desperation, attitude, and morals almost effortlessly. Almost all the students are also brilliant actors. Fairly predictable series, but it breaks the pattern at some points beautifully, to bring the story to a one of a kind climax with a powerful message behind it for each and every one of us.

Have you seen the original? The Japanese version. She was like that there too.
Not really. Korean version exaggerates her stupidity and naivety though, whereas Nao in JP version understands full well what she's doing and her trust in people is there to prove a real point.

Had to drop a couple episodes in cause of NDJ who is a really poor adaptation of Nao from the manga, which I read after watching the JP version where she's written a lot more well. Sure Nao is blindly trusting, but I feel the writers also decided that she was stupid so they made this dumber version of her that constantly causes direct trouble through her personality. I had problems with Nao's actions at times, but I was never that frustrated or mad at her like I was at NDJ to the point I couldn't stand watching her anymore. Nao knew full well what she was doing when she trusted people in proving her point, but NDJ just doesn't think. She's just there to be the naive and stupid FL whereas Nao was far more than that. I'm probably biased, but I think Akiyama and Nao in the JP version were portrayed extremely well. To any Liar Game fans, I recommend the JP before the Korean despite the production values here. It captured the mood, the message, and the feelings of the manga the best. This may be original, but I had troubles building connections with HWJ and NDJ compared to Akiyama and Nao when I first saw them in the JP version. I may return someday to watch the Korean version, but that's unlikely.

Japanese version is so much better. Have you watch it? If so, does is resembles with manga?
Not exactly. I have read the manga twice over, and seen the JP version once. I loved it, but they did make a lot of changes in the games (even removed a really great one) and dumbed down some things in the plot.
