This is a GEM of a show!!! What a start to 2025 (the other 2 xianxias seem great as well but not as unique as this one) after a sad 2024. Truly unique and nicely directed to create a rather gem without much romance involvement and making cringe things still look so good!

Actually, he became weak because of the possessions, and this was clearly showed in the story , the more he possesses someone the weaker he becomes, it's a sad trade off:D

Wasnt this supposed to be 2 episodes per day kind of schedule and ending by Nov 11, they seem to have changed it to one per day for most days and then only reach till episode 24th by Nov 10th, starting to juice it out for the $$$$

again failure to read complete para, I actually said that is not the issue , issue is just strange change I'm her character sbd discontinuity that drama brought in just to create some unless angst, for her actually there is no new grief rather just the person responsible for past grief has changed no one is calling her to be ideal character rather being the same character she was 1 episode ago. But i understand this sub being a female led sub is more patient with FL characters creating angst instead of ML. But for me personally this is a typical c drama way of creating forced angst, because in no way a character changes like this when she saw him suffers so much and knows the reason of why he did it ( heck she even said before I would be okay if you told me the reason of why you did that)

actually it isn't an unfair expectation , and failing to save the rabbit doesn't make her a failure that's cz she is weak in power not character, the issue this time was the character and choice of words and ypu say grief actually she has already griefed over her master's death it's not like he killed her now . The only thing and again focus kn the current event that changed her attitude towards him is that she found instead of li lun he killed her , that doesn't changes her grief rather it's just the person responsible that has changed and she earlier was okay because he isn't in control while thrse things happen but when it happens to her her words change to almost equivalent to abandoning him in the sense and hating herself for not hating him. That is the crux if the problem with discontinuity between her previous stance to this stance. heck she even saw him grief over her master and others death now and knew how he keeps blaming himself and wants to die . If you and me can fell empathy towards him for sure a person that is close to him will as well that is the issue here there is no new grief rather just additional suffering for ML cause just 1 more person died for him again. I am not saying she should be fine with everything issue is the choice of words and no this is not due to grief like you are saying.

Yes, I agree that is something we would expect from a goddess who is supposedly an ideal character. But i didnt have any issue with her not helping him rather with the stark contrast of what she said now -"Not even a cloud or tree can save someone destined to fall" and the other one too where she said she cant hate him so she hates herself (again mind you this is based on translation we have seen actual words might have been different and realistically that should be the case since that will align with her connection with him tht show has tried to showcase and her ability to empathize with others.

they are still.too many characters to be brought in and too many things in MV that can change out underlying understanding of the theme.

to be honest she isn't pure because if something bad happens to others it's fine if it happens to her it starts becoming an issue.

yes but her character was supposedly already above all this as she was prpduly saying before it wasn't his fault he wasn't in control , but when it happend to her that's an issue and honestly based on her initial view and understanding of him she should have shown more empathy towards him considering how hurt a person would be if they killed the closes person to them while not on control but it was stranger treatment when the supposed person is literally begging for help.

And a person with empathy let alone the person who is supposed to lover him and even saw his regret in the memory that li lun showed her would realise how much worse he would be feeling or how bad his mental state would be. That is why I am saying it is stark contrast to what she was saying earlier that it's not his fault he wasn't in control , it's exactly opposite of what you would expect from her rather than being supportive she said no one can save a falling person and she hates herself cz she can't hate him ( again it could be eng translation thing but that's what we judge it on)

I don't know this has the makings of a happy ending most probably in nxt life xd

I mean other than strange change in fl characters like on most cdramas rest is s+ class in this show and story is at the point of anticipation where either it will go a big hit or bust in the 2nd half. But dang that 2 day break hurts.

rather than responsibility I would say stark change in her behavior towards him even though same.tjing happened to zyc and she was fine with that because he wasn't in control.I think the responsibility come from the fact she is supposed to be a godess and impartial and somewhat idealistic character when this happens to others she is fine with it but when it happens to her she can't accept it.

I think they want to club and do express release or whatever at the end.

lol, others didn't know he was there she did, Also others were never actually close with them and owed him anything , zyc who was supposed to hate him the most even went to motivate him even though his family died in the same way as fl and they didn't even were related to him anyways , atleast her master knew what he was and wht could have happened and even gave him half the token even after he killed her. That's the diff and doesn't bode well with how her character has been presented since the start .

exactly , this and other one as well are stark contrast to what she used to say when she knew he killed other people families but not by choice, even her master was better who stayed true to her character by giving half of token to him even though he killed her

Also with this much change I think they want to roll into her switching into demon arc with the guilt of doing something bad to zyz.
