I agree, the background story about the revolt had little impact to our main focus, other than taking Yai away from Kaew when he had to travel and Kaew dues. I really hated those scenes, it was very distracting and kind of took this story all over the place. Shine is a perfect example of how the events of the time affected all the relationships in the show. I still watched for Billy Babe, I adore them. but yeah, they need a way better script!!
