After that they went their seperate ways in two opposite borders to be stationed. ML saw Fl after many years so the build changes after all these military trainings . In the novel there is no plot of his father dying and all these enemity with He rufei for the ml. So they made that for the drama. Hence the plot holes in the first three episodes.

Yes it is coming, They are trying to cast but it's hard to cast both FL AND ML for that drama. both are very complex characters . it would really need very good actors to pull it off

Yes, I have read all the works of this author. my favourite is malicious empress. The FL in that novel is just incredible, He yan is a kid in front of her schemes and cruelty to her enemies. Ml is equally cool the only one who can outsmart the fl in that novel.

This was not the author's best novel so makes sense they needed some changes. I really hope they donot change a word of her upcoming novel adaptation of malicious emperess. That has the best ml and fl

In the novel He didn't recognize her because they had n't met for many years after they seperated and went to the army. He only met her after she became blind and in the temple and gave her a sweet and talked about the moon. In the drama they added this plot god knows why so these logical problems are not there in the novel. I think they added that story to make the ML more involved in the novel it was all about the FL AND her revenge Ml was just helping her and he didn't have that much of a storyline.

in the novel she was reborn as another he yan and the faces were different. the story is a little different in the novel. in the drama they raced through the first 3 chapters

Yes , both of them are equally skilled . both were reputed generals FL was known for the kindness but strategy in the battle field while Ml was known for the cruel strategies in the battle field. both respected each other and competed with each other, there was not his father dying and revenge those sort of things. They had only talked a small number of times in the past life. fl always thought ml was bullying her while he was trying to help her.

I think it was his plan to draw out the spy and I think lei hou is the spy if i remember carefully, She realized she was never the prey the ml was hunting for

Her body was weak to draw the bow string to it's fullest so thats why she had to train herself to strengthen herself to draw the bow . She is very good at it but her present body was not suitable for it

Their chemistry is kind of subtle esp when in the latest episode they played good cop bad cop just by looking at each other,

OHH MANN, Wu Lei was intense in that drama with those eyes. I never thought that kind of intense eye acting would come from such an young actor such as him.

She doesn't suit the character. She is pretty tho and not a big fan of her acting. Shen miao needs intense emotions and a very heavy role. But may be she can do the role well who knows
