guys should i be watching this drama? i feel like it has been too hyped up and i am scared i will end up disappointed…
I get you. Usually overhyped dramas always end up disappointing. So, I would suggest you to give it a try. Maybe watch the first 4 episodes and then decide if it is your cup of tea or not. However I will tell you that the trailer and the poster is misleading. It is not some high school drama, yes it does have high school elements but the drama is not focused on it. I was invested in this drama from ep 1. Hyeyoon’s acting just caught my attention and then ep 2, locked me in. But it can be different for everyone. So, my honest advice would be give it a try atleast. Because this truly is a masterpiece which bought many OG kdrama lovers back to the kdrama world🤩
and the villain why is no one talking about it ? -- like they build up so well TO DO THIS !!! man so so so disappointing…
The villain did not have much role from the very beginning. He literally had two dialogues throughout the whole show. The taxi driver was a psycho serial killer who just wanted to kill people. Sol was unfortunately his victim. And when she got away, he got fixated on her and wanted to kill her. But Seonjae always interrupted his plans and sent him to jail so, he wanted revenge from Seonjae. That’s it. The drama was never focused on the villain’s motive from the beginning. It was always about Soljae and the villain is just a plot device. In the end, Taesung’s dad clearly mentioned the taxi driver’s intention, i.e., he was just a bad guy.
So we saw in the bts video of ep 16, how bws’s crying scene with halmonie was not scripted right? I think he might be missing his grandma and when halmonie said he can now live a long life with his love, he became emotional. It’s just a thought I had. Even the way he was hugging halmonie with his teary eyes spoke volumes.

Agreed. I cried in ep 1 because of her acting. I truly connected and sympathised with her character because of her amazing portrayal. No one could’ve portrayed Im Sol like her. And to see such talent go to waste is such a big disappointment.

Naah I get the ml hype. I think it is a given fact that they’ll be hyped more (as you said there are more female fans) so I understand it. But my problem is with the industry. On one side bws offers have increased by 20 times and on other side she doesn’t have any. I would be able to accept that her offers have increased 10 times or maybe 5 times but no. I am disappointed at this. She deserves more roles.

Yes this is truly frustrating. Like bws said, his offers have increased by 20 times and hy doesn’t have any. This is just unacceptable. Both of them deserve success. But seeing her get treated like this makes my heart break😭
