How I wish the director and production team put more effort into it. It looks low-budget and poorly made. Iām actually okay with the writing. But the director seems to treat it poorly without enough care or effort. My respect for this director has gone down a little and the editing issues are affecting it a lot.
Meh. This is one of the bad k-dramas I watched from this year. No emotional connection with any of these characters and acting is off most of the times.
This season should have never made. Not deserving of this rating. Should be much lower under 8. The Season 2's ending was good, should have stopped there and moved on.

Issues with actors about kissing? Not at all. Their past modern drama Moonlight had many kiss scenes. And they both always filmed kiss scenes in their other dramas as well. Just no idea why it happened here like this.
My honest opinion - the final episodes have done right. They did not show his face in the ending scene (it is a downside). But, Author Fu Zhou and his love, how and why he and also Miaomiao were transmigrated to the novel world was explained clearly. Fu Zhou part was satisfying. Normally, in this type of drama, they had never showed the real reason for transmigration like this one. The author's background story was on point.
