Anyway, she should get a chance to question his ethical behaviour as well so I don't think this instance of conflict is going to be dragged out too much.

Totally. I was so annoyed with ep14 that they were going with that "misunderstanding" twist. So glad that it was resolved maturely: explained his reaction and feelings, apologized. instead of going off in a huff.

Haha, I was going to drop it after the 1st as well. But now I've lost track of how many times I've watched the first 10. Good show.

It was my first ever wuxia/cdrama; and this version is still is my number one. Even my now-deceased dog loved it. Watched parts of it probably 100 times. Could not watch any other version. As far as I am concerned this one is the best.

Just finished Till the end of the Moon. OST is fantastic. Almost, dropped it during Bore's dream. I get what you mean about the ending.

the Abess there was original Zhou Zi Ruo and Hei Zi was in almost all of them - the cast is hardcore. Except for that guy who played ml ... Wuji. Every time I saw his cross-eye stare, I wept. I hear Dylan Wang's name a lot (good/bad) but I have not seen him in anything so I have no opinion about him.

The cast was stellar, the only issues I had with the legends was the editing towards the end. Re SSS,I don't think this book should be adapted. I've absolutely suffered through this book. It felt like it was written by some teenager who only heard what people are. Granted I've only read the translation, but none of the characters felt pleasant. When I saw Jiang Ni "being assassin" in e02 Teresa Li looked absolutely perfect for what the story meant to imply with respect to their unusual relationship, and you can sense the dynamic it was obvious there was some mutual affection. In the book even after ch 300 it felt wrong. I read someone bitching about Teresa Li being fl, but I just can't see anyone who could play this role other than her.
Also, Nangong Pu She's character: e01, 5 or 6 mins on screen it's obvious that she's a player what's her ask and how it could play out. In the book 100 chapters in and it's unclear if she is an effeminate man or a woman (actually that's unclear even in the last 20 chapters) and what the hell her stake in it. I am sorry, but that book is junk. I think season 1 cleared the first 400+ chapters and thank god for a good screenwriter. Sorry I just had to vent, I absolutely regret the time spent on it.

Yeah Chen Yu Qi was really my highlight of this, her every scene is golden . Yeah that trash move looked worse in 2006 version, and was not handled better in the "Romance Of.." . But how the situation unfolded is just wrong in all of them including the book. Her reaction was just retarded. Let's see how it will pan out in "The New Version of the Condor Heroes" if it will ever see the light of day that is.

I don't mind, I am still very very new to this genres so my ranking scale is weird and I am still discovering new things. As silly as it sounds but for me if I finished it has t be at least 8.5 :D . In The Legends chemistry between them was brilliant and I am mostly willing to ignore shortcoming of special effects or even plot holes, provided that the cast is making some effort.
Reading novels is kinda double edged sword. for example I would've never clicked on SSS if I had prior knowledge of the book.

Lol yeah, I only saw her in Condor Heroes, I felt like a 12yo again. But she was absolutely perfect Huang Rong. At this stage I've already ready the story and she was just as I've imagined her to be ... so not just a pretty face.

I was going to watch the LBFAD before because Li Yi Tong is in it, but I think there was something off putting there, might give it another go.

I absolutely loved Bai Lu in The Legends,which is like my number 2 so far, so first time I picked ALP was because I saw Xu Kai in it. Did not realize Bai Lu was there too. You mentioned Chasing the moon, I'll add that as well.

Cool, I've added it to my todo list as well. Till end of the moon started very well, I'd say I am hooked now.

Loved SSS, e01 as character & plot setup goes is probably the best 1st episode of everything I've ever seen.

Ancient Love Poetry - dropped it because it popped up after Eternal Love and the first 2 or 3 episodes seemed so slow I ran out of patience to figure out the story :(
