Two dramas of Xiaoju have already been announced, but there’s still no update on when filming will actually begin. I really hope she starts filming soon, it’s so frustrating having to wait an entire year just for one of her dramas to air😭🤧

Omg, this seriously reminds me of Xiaoju drama LOWS and I’m still not over it. It was supposed to be a female centric story, focusing on her character as the White Snake.. but because the male lead started gaining popularity from another drama, they completely shifted the narrative, they literally rewrote the focus to highlight the male lead, and it ruined so much of what made the original tale special. A lot of fans, especially those who love the classic adaptations, were super frustrated. The plot became messy, the character arcs lost depth, and the entire drama felt off. It’s just so disappointing when powerful female led stories get sidelined like that for the sake of trends🥲🙄
