I don't know if the 2018 we're watching is VR or not, but girl's got the most innovative amnesia ever. It's literally memory loss from hitting her head when she went to the concrete cube area coupled with the already messed up memory project. Well done script writers.

I think his friend Xu exists only he's in the real world whereas QL lives in the virtual world. That's why no one knows him.

I kind of get his behaviour. I'd freak out if someone I love was "possessed" by another soul. I'd want the old person back and the new one monitored at all times so that they don't disappear. I wouldn't be understanding and caring, especially if I believed in "time travel".

Where did Xu go? They were high up and he disappeared and he's the only one who remembers him. So what if all this is the ML's imagination? Also, he has a hair salon with his friend (FL worked in a hair salon and he used to sleep in it) and six years ago he didn't "appear" where they were supposed to meet with the FL. We don't know why, but what if, in the end, all 3 (HB,JX and QL) are part of the experiment? In this VR life he is the hero who saves the girl.

So, YP lives in Jeju to protect his "mom" and judging by the last scene, the father blames her for his wife's death bc they were the only two in the water then. SD's eternal crash on Samdal makes sense since he's always lived in that small place and opportunities were quite limited. Also, the child thinks she's doing her mother a favour by presenting her as a young single childless lady, but she's only making things worse.

I skipped almost all the scenes with the main leads getting cosy.

I was kind of disappointed with the villain unmasking. I truly hoped it'd be someone inconspicuous, like the wife. That would have been a shock.

Rather annoying the back and forth conundrum. She gave up her inheritance and they are both alive and well. I'd have preferred if the scriptwriters focused on how to be together forever instead of revisiting the wacko family. Alsο, the cousin tried to kill her, doesn't that create a scandal for the father's family? Isn't it enough to make him quit from his position?

No. We didn't witness any wedding and I believe if there was one her sisters would have attended it. All we learnt is that she's been chosen as the Crown Princess and she needs to get all the proper training before the wedding.
