Only likes Pop since early episodes. In the novel, Only thought Pop gave him tissue (episode 1) for his rhinitis. Only asks Pop about lesson in class that makes Hero got jealous. Only also supposed to be trying to carry Pop to clinic when he fainted (remember the sleep drug incident) in class. Only also gave Pop gifts, christmas gifts, often asks Pop to come home with him. Most of Only- Tiger interactions in the drama are not in the novel. Only's not supposed to be a scumbag since he never kiss/says like Tiger.

The scene where Pop getting drunk and sleep with Only, as long i remember, it's just the two of them, without Tiger. Only invited Pop to his hometown to spend holidays, he used his mother as an excuse to invite him. They seem tobe childhood friend.

Many Tiger - Only flirting and kissing scenes are not in the novel. Except the scene Tiger wearing womans clothes. The novel never clearly make them a couple.

I can't get enough of the theme song, love proverb, i've been playing it over and over again.

They're not getting together in the novel, adult Only become a quite famous actor and Tiger become a police officer. They do seem to fall for each other but still there's no confession. The only confession from Only is his unsent love letter to Pop.

According to the novel, Only supposed to always likes Pop (and not Tiger, he get close to Tiger because Tiger is Pop's best friend) , he will confess it later on when he become an actor few years later.

The point of addiction is Gu hai abusive and ilogical addiction to Yinzi (stalking, kidnap, r#pe)...but since they make the original Guhai turn into a lovey dovey Hero, it doesn't make sense of addiction anymore

They must learn to cast mature actors, even 30 years old actors wearing high school uniforms are acceptable (the on1y one, example)..and too bad this production seems very low budget and the music / sound effect are horrible.

Agree...bai luo yin character is so manly since he's going to be a soldier/pilot in book 2.

After watching ep 3, the big differences compared to the original version : guhai girlfriend way too beautiful and bai luo yin got jealous already...

I watched a lot k drama before..and in k drama, bow and kneel is an effective way to show your sincerety.

Overrated...watched it in 2-3x speed, got bored sometimes, the plot is so simple, plain, no conflict/cliffhanger/plottwist.
I wonder if the FL is not ZLS, would it be a hit?
The FL friends at the dorm seems unrealistic supporting her like a queen bee. Like when she talks, they are all ear and focus on her.
One thing that bothers me is if ML respects FL's family and brother, it would be good for him to wait until they got married to sleep with her.

In asian show, ML fight hard to win FL parent's acceptance, but our ML here, LX doesn't bother to think about FL parents. This is the only drama where ML didnt deserve FL.

I agree with you, it's a toxic relationship. Not in my right mind, i would accept a man bought a house instantly without consulting me first. Everything ML did he didn't think about FL. And he said he did it out of love. You didn't treat your loved ones like he did. And her family. And her friends. I get that ML is lonely, but he didn't born as an orphan, he had mother father and sister. He should learns to treat other like he treated his family.
