And it's true that the reason he is still seeking help from Ming is because ,he knows Mong is rich (richer than other two) so he can make a better negotiation and Ming wouldn't mind any amount he proposed, and he is still somewhat wanting to be with Ming than with someone else..
I really hoped that this would have been a revenge drama. And in the end Joe lives happily with his mother.. without Ming.
