Ye Gods, this is terrible. Overly-dramatic acting, a ridiculously dramatic and laughably silly opening scene (jump…
Yes, the camera is really good,FL is pretty and smart, ML has shown his muscles already after saving her, bgm follows the suspense, but the story is a bit too predictable and editing is definitely lacking, some sequences are cut too early, others are too long or repetitive, a serious underperformance. I'll continue to watch for now but I agree it's already quite droppable
me2. I've seen this actress only in that distorted three kingdom drama I've disliked, but, yes, she is kinda born for such cold & unpleasant powerwoman's roles. FL's hubby is my 1st sus here, what do you think?
you've articulated so well what amazed us all in this drama, this breaking barriers between fictional and real…
definitely. Besides, by presenting this socio-philosophical aspect better than many other "deep & serious" genre dramas, this one uplifted, dignified, its own genre. The authors definitely put a lot of thought and craft in it and that's why the result is so satisfying
What a great review! I enjoyed your analysis here for this drama.
Thank you, Maybe I've enjoyed this drama so much because of our interactions and pov exchanges here. Finding and decoding clues, guessing, observing (we've all watched it together in a way)... this was a shared experience. Binge-watchers maybe won't have this additional pleasure
Ngl I'm surprised that in the reviews the story isn't a 10/10 when the story was literally the best thing about…
Me too. For me, the story was 10/10, I've enjoyed all other things, too, but the story was... wow! I'll write the review later (I am still watching) and it will be my first time ever assigning 10 points to a drama.
EP 7 where ethe EP where she wanted to befriend LSL. As she said herself, the ML has plot armor. Sha laid low…
No. It's the FL who has the "plot armour", not the ML. It's the ML who must save her no matter what when she's in danger, not vice versa. It's one of the "rules" the Scriptwriter set which characters can't change.
The only reason why she plots the murder at this early stage is bc. she must get rid of the ML, he gave her an impossible task: to find out the forging method for resistant swords
If youβre already this ruffled up at ep 7, then maybe this isnβt your type of drama? I mean ff will mean missing…
the reason why she plots the murder with CGH and LSL is bc. she must get rid of the ML because he gave her an impossible task: to find out the forging method for resistant swords
So to sum up, it's gonna be:The scriptwriter who insists all the iconic scenes to happen so he can go back to…
A perfect summary. If I were to add smth:
The scriptwriter who insisting all the iconic scenes to happen so he can go back to modern world AND BECOME TOP-TIER screenwriter. With all the nonsensical garbage he wrote, with his divine (/unhuman) role and rules... π VS SYM who doesn't want to leave the script world and NH who won't let her go back to her world BECAUSE: 1. IN "HIS" WORLD THEY'VE ALREADY CHANGED THE STORY AND CAN BE MASTERS OF THEIR DESTINY 2. "HER" WORLD IS WHICH IS FICTIONAL AS WELL VS CGH who denies to fix himself and refuses the good SML setting, bcs he wants to be the protagonist who conquer the world AND WILL GO UTTERLY CRAZY FOR NOT BEING THE MAIN LEAD
now if many other characters finding out about this script things too, it's gonna be a big showdown tomorrow: IT WILL BE AN OPEN REBELLION, LOL
I agree now. Even if script is not maybe so good for someone lets say... For me its okay good...details are brilliant.…
I disagree, the script is brilliant, and the details are... I don't have the exact word for them. Details in this drama keep our brain constantly engaged, they complete and help to build up the story, keep us constantly intrigued and entertained with smth and there are like tons of these details so craftily put in the right place at the right moment (also as clues) which push you to rewatch the scenes and eps as they were asking from us not to miss them... Details are "brilliantly engaging", maybe that's the right wording
When she said to scriptwritter she found boyfriend in this world. It was fun to me because he is her housband…
She told that after she clearly said: "we are husband and wife, I can't have secrets with him" to justify why NH knows the dude is the scriptwriter. Being married implies certain obligations (like not hiding important things) while having a boyfriend implies personal liking, love, satisfaction, sweetness, an intimate emotional bond she doesn't want to give up
Strangely, NH was even more pleased when heard her saying "boyfriend" than husband.
Now that you mention it, she kept dying no matter how she tried to survive in episode 1...
yeah. The reset to an earlier point happened only when she invoked "God" saying she doesn't want to return to that world any more (after being poisoned).
I'll continue to watch for now but I agree it's already quite droppable

And sad. It remembers me:
If they've had an external enemy, this issue would be a question of life and death in the drama

How will we define such details, lol?
