I watched today Ep 26, I, so far, think, the relationship between the leading couple is according to their character. ML is the softer one in this pairing. FL is raised in a matriarchy bound to be loyal to the Rong Family-so, her character is special and it is difficult for her to change these internalized rules by the family and the Granny, that Granny does everything, even bad things to hold the family under her thumb.

I think, she does it because of mixed reasons. She was facinated the first time she saw him, she was annoyed how he wanted her to come and testify and wasn‘t sure, if he is a good man or not and for later episodes: she wants to protect him and protect someone else you get to know later. I watch only dramas with new eps in Teleparty with others after my work and family is done. When I see an interesting drama, but I can‘t watch it, I put it on a list and watch it, when I have time. So I can manage my time. I have to say, I am already retired, so I do have in between my work and family stuff more time left to watch. But also, the ones I know who still work and have family, get to manage to watch their dramas. And if everyday airing, sometimes I also have to skip and watch one or two episodes next day. Well, the overall storyline is similar. They did change the reborn arc in my eyes, because othetwise they had to make it like a dream as in Kunning Palace, the censorship doesn‘t allow that. But I do really like it.
