Many people stops at looking at the (promised) messyness of this series, but there's much more to consider.
After watching the pilot trailer many times, I came to the conclusion that this show is about one thing: power. More specifically, how power is exercised and, ultimately, how to subvert it.
The 4 "leaders" exercise power in their way: 1)Kimmy->power throught sex 2)Pim-> power throught knowledge 3)Yim->power thought money 4)Max->power throught violence (=bullying)
In this school, every student must join one of the leaders' group. If not, first they will aggressively try to recruit you. And if you still refuse, you might get k!lled, as it happens to the protagonist (Tommy). However, somehow he comes back to life and, again, he is asked to choose to join one leader. And what he does? He refuses. That's how, I think, he will exercise power: throught resistance.
You can say that I'm overanalyzing it or I'm giving too much credit to Dumundi's screenwriters. I'd understand that, but I refuse to believe this show's messyness is just for the sake of being messy.
Then in November we will see Only friends, Melody of Secrets and Me and Thee dramas. I wish gmmtv had released…
For H2H we'll need to wait a lot I think. For Friendshit Forever we might get it sooner than we think! But for MoS, I'm not that confident it'll air on November....
1)OFDM might air after MMP, that ends on Sep 28. Therefore, the special ep would air on Oct 5 and EP1 would air on Oct 12. HOWEVER, if that the case it would mean that it will air while JG are on their fanmeetings in USA and LATAM. And if gmmtv does the usual first ep fan meenting, it would mean JG cannot attend it. Would they do that? (If not after MMP, there would be another rerun show to replace it?)
OR
2) OFDM airs after Revamp, that ends on Oct 25. So, special ep on Nov 1 and EP1 on Nov 8.
Guys, pray that Joss and Gawin should given a chance to play as main lead in at least three bl series for GMMTV…
Most likely JG will have a new series in 2026 as main lead. Given that they got a fancon and a world tour/fanmeeting, that's for sure. Maybe a 10 ep, series since that's the new trend for gmmtv. And probably with some decent sponsors/budget. But 3 series is too much XD Not even the actors with the high majority of fans get that XD I'm all in for the mafia-police type!
