I thought I would struggle with watching 5 eps in one go since I don’t have a lot of motivation recently
but the way it pulled me from the start
finished the 5 eps and I want MOREEEE

what a masterpiece omg I REALLY ENJOYED THIS

that kiss scene??? when she’s literally dating someone else
they’re really getting on my nerves

this is the second drama I watch of yunrui
and i gotta say I’m obsessed
didn’t see him in a modern drama yet but he really is perfect in historicals
just insanely attractive and omg the way he speaks???? so softly and gentle

for the ending… lin yan’s last scenes really broke me oml I want this erased from my memory

this really has all the elements to be a very entertaining drama for me
food, time travelling, slow burn, family, comedy, and li yunrui
i really enjoyed it, although most people felt bored towards the end
i would say it was the middle part for me that felt draggy
loveeedd the family and their relationship
and loved the couple even more
i personally enjoy slow burns so this was perfect for me

also i think this doesn’t make much sense but for some reason
at the times when they were wearing winter clothes ( the vibes with the dark lighting and all ) that was kinda depressing to me 😭

honestly.. I enjoyed part 1 wayyyy more like nothing tops that ( it’s so special for me and without a doubt one of my fav cdramas)
for the second part, i would say the first half was still interesting
but then the misunderstandings happened
and that really annoyed me
also the backstory abt mudan’s mother also wasn’t it for me
still a satisfying ending thankfully

finally got to watch the first 3 eps , really enjoyed every scene of it
i missed them so badly

but what about the friend in a coma ?😞

that’s the first cdrama that I watch AND FINISH while airing
thoroughly enjoyed it
was very amazed by the places and aesthetics I don’t think I’ve ever watched something with similar vibes
also loved every single character 🫶🏼

I just realized how attractive the main villain is aka (Guang Hua)

started this today, binged on the 6 eps already and now I can’t waitttt
