maybe i am, unfortunately this year was full of romcoms or slice of life dramas which are my least favourte genres 🥲

cuz i can also all the dramas that caught my attention won't air till next year so

as everyone can write comments saying what a good drama this is i can write comments saying how bad this is

ah and yes that's a totally normal reason to fall in love with someone for so ridicolously long lol

thriller is one of my favourite genres, but they had to stick the ridicolous childhood pining plot something i had no idea was there when i first started it or i wouldn't have bothered

and by wattpadd romance i more mean the rich ML who is cold to everybody else but the FL another thing i despise in dramas

I only really liked 3 maybe 4 dramas of this year 😭 it was a struggle

i'm so happy the rating rised so much, the last time i saw it it was at 7.8, it's such an underrated drama

hoping it won't disappoint, 2024 has been quite bad for kdramas, maybe it will end with a bang

Not really , its a typical fantasy-romance (i love those), that genre existed way before wattpad 🤣🤣 and they actually fall il love during the series, they havent been pining for 20 years

it's pathetic being obsessed with someone for 20+ years in general and then treat her like shit for no reason?? like what reason is "not to get attached" if you've been attached to her for literally decades?? like you must be a pathetic loser who wants to look cool, loving someone "silently" for decades in pathetc to me, or you just give up or you shoot your shot soon

The FL lead is also kind of a loser because you must have zero self-respect for yourself to fall in love for a guy like this

And i know English ain't the only language, it isn't my first language either and i was on wattpadd all the time during 2016-2018 (when i myself was a young teenage girl) and yea it was really cringe i'm sorry 😂😂

i don't have anything agaist love stories, but i actually want to see them fall in love and actually see a reason why one becomes so special to the other, him being in love with her for 20 years is just pathetic it would've been a lot better if he fell for her over time
He also didn't even bother to learn sign language how they were supposed to communicate? His "love" for her is superficial, there's no reason why she's so special and different from any other girl

And i'm sorry but no good stories came out of wattpad 😭

only the ovverrated romcoms have that, there are many actual good kdramas who have flawed and complex characters without the wattpad ridicolous love story

here the ML has been in love with the FL for no reason at all for 20+ years, despite never talking to each other.. how is it not a female fantasy? 😂😂💀

i'm not lying, it has all the tropes i hate the most: childhood friends, ML who has loved the FL for 20+ years for absolutely no reason, miscommunication for plot sake, dumb characters, whiny scaredy cat FL, 40+ year old man who acts like a teenager with a crush (a.k.a i bully her cuz i like her vibe)

Got into it hoping for a thriller but got a cheesy and cringe soap opera, Hope that made it clear

Yes she can.. considering she likes to tell others how much life experience she has adapting should be a minimum, plus she lives with a young granddaughter so it's not like she has never seen how young people act

I know that maybe this is a cultural difference but most of her comments were rude and unnecessary, hoping for a good character development

the only thing i can't stand about these dramas is the fact that after they transform they keep acting weird around people, like girlie we get it you're a grandma have some sense and adapt why do you keep acting like that around people when you know what you look like 😭😭

I watched only the 1 episode and ofc i had to watch at least one episode to form an opinion

And no theres literally nothing good airing right now (as of korean dramas)for me
