Yes ML is bad at acting, his face is always so stiff and emotionless. ZLY carried this drama but she's not so great either, just so so or because the ML was so bad. It's the supporting actors' that carried the drama actually.... yes the fighting scenes are good i give them that but the ML's character just can't attract me enough to care lol Maybe it gets getter later idk but for me it really bores me...
So i tried watching Blossoms in Adversity because it has the same director as Wan Xin Ji and I decided to drop it at episode 10 now. I find the male lead character very boring and female lead very cliche... (sorry to the fans of these actor/actress). I truly hope Wan Xin Ji is better than this drama....

High reservations are useless if the drama isn't good (Fox spirit had 7m+ and it is flopping). so i'm not looking into much now. I hope TWOT can become a black horse that will surprise everyone like the current Youku drama.
