The actor (Jay) is so attractive... The main leads have a great chemistry but the rooftop scene in ep 2 was unnecessary. I dont like it. And I already love the trio, the ML, the manager and the other boy.
ep 8 Finally, a proper hug in a cdrama...tight and safe and the FL didnt hesitate, she hugged him at the same moment. Yan Lai...Now, Im interested in the flashback scene in the desert. I hope Yanfang is a good guy...I love the scenes between the brothers.
ep 7... the Xia mansion...YanLai and his cold and threatening face...that was a good scene. the carriage scene with the FL and the lantern scene...that was sweet and YL looked soft and innocent. the scene with the Princess token between the brothers....another good scene.
WinWin is so good in this role...ep 27 But, I dont want YX to be so pathetic and childish because of his first love...After all, he is the Commander of the Bureau. Loved all the scenes between him and the ML. And they look so charismatic in the black robes with the long hair.

ZY and his meticulous plan...the scene with the Emperor was pretty good...ep 39 YX and Queen Helian...they are a powerful team... ep 40 My fav scenes are the scenes with ZY and YX...And Im a little surprised with their make up. that was well done. They looked natural and convincing as the old Kings. The last scene on the lake was a good closing scene.
ep 31....Loved all the scenes with ZY...especially the scene with the Emperor and the scene with YX in his tent. YX, Consort Heilan and General Cheng are a good team.
ep 29...Loved all the scenes between ZY and his grandfather...Now, Im curious about the Yan Sincheng's case. ZY looks so gorgeous in the black robe as the King of Ximeng. ZY and CQ...the market scenes were sweet and light and the gemstone quiz scene was so funny. eps 27, 28 General Cheng and Consort Helian...He saved her and now there is a misunderstanding between the two of them. Yan Xun and General Huan...he brought her back and that was smart.
ep 25...another good episode...the scenes between ZY and the Lingyue Queen were so emotional. I just love when a ML is intelligent and insightful. ZY and his trap with the powder in the courtyard...that was a clever move. Loved the scene between ZY and the King of Ximeng...ZY looked so powerful. Xiao Ran is one of my fav characters. Im unfamiliar with the actor but he is pretty good looking. And I liked the quiet SML in this episode.
ep 15...Good development for ZY and CQ in this episode. The carriage scene with the window between the two of them...that was so soft and lovely. ZY looked so elegant in the light blue costume with the simple, white hairpin.
ep 22...Another good supporting role for Chang Hua Sen....Im glad we saw the scenes between HanBe and old Su Jian...that was so emotional. WSG and Wangyan...the screenwriter ruined a bit the romance between the two of them for me. Anyway, I love their mature and composed relationship. Ji Ling and Wuyi...the love story is so unpredictable but their emotions are sincere and soft. Mu Long and You Chi...Im rooting for them.
LYR deserves a proper main role. I dont understand the low screen time. Finally, we saw a slight smile on ZY's face... ep 12. The Ximeng female warrior is so impulsive. But, ZY is very patient with her. Liked the short moment between the FL and ZY at the banquet in ep 10... and CQ looked beautiful in that styling.
YanLai's backstory looks intriguing.
