Why everyone else accepting him? No one really accept him but they forced to accept it because of Rong Shan Bao. No one can really say a thing to her.

That was his initial plan. He knew the corrupted officials were trying to harm him, so him being assassinated by one of his own guys was real. BUT he used the assassination to his own advantage meaning he became the bait for the corrupted officials in order to solve the case in the dark, while his advisor would become the next magistrate.

In order to find Madam Yang, he purposely fell onto the path that Rong always uses. He gambled that someone from the Rong family would save him and bring him back to the Rong household. But fate had a different plan for him he really got amnesia after his head bumped into a rock.

That’s why after he recovers his memory in Ep 12, he said things had become complicated, because he developed real feelings for Rong Shanbao. In his initial plan, he never intended to fall in love, because in his mind, solving the case was the priority.

it’s because RSB has a matured personality and understand his point of view. same goes to Lu Jiang Lai, he understand her responsibilities toward Rong family but he needs to prioritise his duty as a Magistrate (plus he is imperial inspector, extension of emperor. if he neglecting his task, he can be in big trouble which can implicating Rong family too)

RSB is a key witness. there is no other way because in court everything needs evidence. plus corrupted official has killed/paid off all people who knows madam yang. this is the reality.

but because of this case, RSB is slowly becoming herself. she is no longer becoming puppet of the family and her grandma anymore.

i love the dynamic between Lu Jiang Lai and Rong Shao bao. both of them give me mature couple aura and its refreshing to see. instead of throwing tantrum, both of them speak less words and understand each other instead. which is rare for me to see in C-drama or even K-drama

he signed earliar. aimi only came to the picture after a month if not mistaken.reason being i believe that he took this project because this is his first time acting as a general. which he never done before. plus he admit that he is workaholic.

like what RSB said, yes he is wrong for doing things without telling her but she understands him. she is leader of rong family , her role is to protect her family empire while LJL is inspector imperial (an extension of emperor) and now prefect of Linji which his role is to bring justice and protect their society. so both of them are right. plus Im glad that FL and ML are mature couple where both of them understand each other

i made a right choice to finish all TUS episodes then i watch Glory. Glory mend my broken heart 😭

i think she awares that he has regained his memory. so thats why time to time, she is being careful around him. the part where he said want to send message to his mentor, its kinda obvious that he indirectly tell her that he has regained his memory. i think he felt guilty that he was actually there to solve wei old case. in next ep, looks like he managed to capture madam yang

That part im not sure but for what i know, eventho he is immortal, meaning he can skipped Age and sickness? but he still can die, plus the one who killed him is Xiayao, which is more powerful than him. I think she sacrificed herself. the part where she went up to the sky

thats how i feel too. i really hate when character didnt get proper justice. he cant even enter reincarnation cycle to start all over again… what a true tragedy

she injected demon essence into him, so now he is immortal demon. because of that he cant enter reincarnation cycle. so he fell asleep for 5000 years because xiayao wants him to atone for his sins. for protecting his own people. so yeah

i think it differently. 10,000 years hong ye - he is a human prince where his clan got bullied and killed multiple time by demon clan. (demon sees them worthless creature) Ao he clan humiliated him by asking him to crawl and bite some materials with his mouth in order to save his people, but ao he still decided to kill them. just to prove a point and humiliated him. you see, no one born bad. they forced to be ruthless in order to fight back. reason of human and demon war, is because the demon ignorant attitude, those with power thinking that they can bully the weak without getting the payback. xiayao is a leader for dragon clan but she failed to understand his action and point of view. its like eye for an eye. rather than killing him straight, why dont have some table talk? arent that what leader suppose to do?

not only that, xiayao wants him to atone his sins by killing demon, so she injected her demon essence into Hong Ye so he wont die and enter reincarnation cycle and sleep for 5000 years. for me, thats very cruel thing to do. he only mistake is he is not ruthless enough and he is too in love with xiayao. because of that, he got killed twice because of her. i dont hate xiayao but she is too idealistic about demon and human. because of her pure heart and idealistic, hong ye died twice. I guess both of them never meant to be together

yeah, the fact that he cant even enter reincarnation cycle is too cruel. i guess that is karma for xiayao too. now she is suffered because Hong Ye is no longer around. seems like both of them never meant to be together. and thats kinda depressing

yes they literally forgot that demon was the main reason why human is searching for Yuli Spring, they wanna be strong so they wont be bullied, killed by them. but the fact that after 10,000 aohe never say sorry to Hong ye. xiayao should said sorry to him too. because of her clan, they behave that way. but no, im right, you are wrong. haish. really pissed me off

After finishing TUS, one thing I dislike about Xiayao is that she’s way too idealistic and optimistic about the world. Because of her ideals about demons and humans, she ended up killing Hong Ye twice.

For the second life, Hong Ye got punished by lightning because xiayao saved humans. after reaching demon valley, straight away giving him a hard time. After that, she proposed that demons and humans should try to coexist. He gave in and ended up dying because of human greed.

For the first life, she always had this ideal that Hong Ye was never a bad person. He is a good guy, but she forgot that no one is born bad. People are forced to be ruthless. If they are not ruthless, they will get trampled, humiliated, or murdered by demons. Imagine being humiliated like that. Ao He actually killed his people in front of him. For me, that’s a serious offense. Why did she never kill Ao He? He killed innocent people too. Did she even bother to ask Hong Ye what happened inside the cave? All she cared about was “I will protect you,” but she forgot that he is a human prince, a prince with feelings and responsibilities. exactly like how she leads demon clan. Does she care about how he felt when his people died for no reason? And the fact that one of her dragon clan actually killed his whole family. Does she expect him to be an angel and forgive them? The part where he found Yuli Spring and he broke down crying really made me very emotional. He found Yuli Spring, but at what cost? in order to protect his people, he had to be ruthless. I dont feel bad with the 3 ancient beast, especially aohe, he litterally killed his people,

Not only that, Xiayao injected demon essence into Hong Ye so he wouldn’t enter the reincarnation cycle. That’s quite selfish. Not gonna lie, the demons from 10,000 years ago are so smug and entitled.

Sorry for nagging, but I’m very emotional because Hong Ye didn’t get proper justice. Seeing that he even sealed the Kunlun Mirror in his body so no one could find Yuli Spring anymore broke my heart. TSY and HMH are great actors. I’m just not a fan of Xiayao’s character sometimes, especially when she’s being too idealistic about humans and demons.

For the ending, I don’t think she went back just to go down memory lane. She came back to save Hong Ye. I think there’s a chance because she knows what’s going to happen. Maybe she can save Hong Ye and the world. For me, it’s an open ending. I don’t think Hong Ye died either. He seems to have been sealed away from the world so the Kunlun Mirror won’t come out anymore.

Honest opinion, I need to digest little bit more to give overall feedback about this drama. the ending is really breaking my heart.
