I car remember the initial separation which is after XZ left Linan, bc they met alter not a long time in the camp. But the separation that stick to me was when XZ decoded to stay away from FCY bc of the incident 16yrs ago involving their parents. That was their longest separation in the novel which was 2 months and 7 days.

He was robbed pf his identity/family, he should be the rightful sitting on the throne. That’s why he’s hellbemt on revenge and no redeeming arc.
