They are his family and Lufeng is outsider so it's understandable that yichen pick family first bc his family treat yichen with hope & love(except for homophobic). Different than Lufeng family that doesn't care or live happy family so it's understandable too that Lufeng doesn't gaf with his father.

The ending is so beautiful... Love this series so much. It's rare to see fantasy bl nowadays so i'm really glad this series is brought it. This is really perfect for that theme and i love every single piece of it 💕
It can be better but the story...not really interesting, just like "classic gmmtv trope" in bl but changing into gl instead. Like parents trope that easily got apologized redemption in a minute like what...?can gmm do better than this trash plots? Like just leave it at bl. .... Not everything needs to be "happy ending"..
