In ep 38- I'm sad that they cutoff the nc scene at the start. later i was happy that they've stopped chasing each other away and have accepted being married. it was a little bit weird that he dreamt of his mother after going rounds n rounds with changyu but yeah she gave a clue. at 1st after the letter revelation i was so angry with wei yan. qian qian making qi min beg to be her empress was so satisfying. it was good watching her friends and li huai'an were supporting her n protecting her when she went to beat the drum and for the 1st and the last time the emperor was acting like the emperor not some comic relief. . In ep 39- this episode really was heavy, the fight between the uncle nephew was satisfying to watch but when i started noticing that wei yan was not actively fighting xie zheng but testing him, i knew something was not right. that li oldie was the real bitch 17 years ago and even today. even though qi min was a cruel person but i did feel sad when he let go of qian qian's hand, i was happy from qian's perspective but feom his side i was sad,he endured so much was brainwashed, i cannot say that he was good after all the killings he had done but i was sad that he didn't find true love. there were few people who did love him but he betrayed them in the end and couldn't see the love they had for him, prime example would be sui yuanqing. In ep 40- this episode was a sappy one 1st half was sad the other was happy. the saddest i felt was for wei yan.when we did get to know that the real bitch was the old emperor. To keep his clan safe wei yan had to do so much, lose his love , lose his sister, bil, and the bond with xie zheng it was sad. he had to become a villian to survive, to keep xie zheng away from the truth ( kind bad move though).i even felt bad for wei yan's son even though he was a bad person but still. when wei yan was hallucinating having a happy dinner with xie zheng before his death was sad. the scene when changyu entered xigui ally was also a lil sad. all the other scenes of their happy moments was sooooo good. at the end qian qian did became empress dowager but not as qi min's wife but as bao'er's mom. the plan they made till bao'er came of age was so good. the foolish emperor really did became fool, i didn't feel sad for him just pity. hoped we could've seen more scenes of everyone. the what if scenario was also cute - them being childhood sweetheart was awwww. people didn't watch it carefully and are saying that it was next life scene, guys pleaseeeee read carefully what is written.

i loved this drama so much it was very beautifully done. the cinematics were so beautiful, each n every shot was beautiful. zhang linghe and tian xiwei looked much more beautiful here, director reakly did a great job in enhancing their looks and making this look so polished. hoped we could get to see their wedding or kids at the ending scenes, also why did they not show gongsun and qi shu's ending. it was really cute when bao'er and changning were talking about being the empress and bao'er seriously asking his mother to let him marry changning then itself

no words for this episode. ik their dating era is going to be epic. literally my heart is jumping out my chest. I'm feeling so giddy. that last 10 min were so hotttttttttttttt i was like aaaaaaaaa, the nc scenes they did the whole thing from the novel, if you wanna know duang put that pillow under qin to make him a little more up iykyk. the last line 'DO YOUR BEST TO HANDLE ME' aaaaaaaa. duangs back looked so sexy, qin was so hot and seductive. that scene when qin came to pickup duang was so cute i was awwwing the whole time. qin just pulling duang by his t shirt was so sassy qin. after watching the preivew i was so gaga now they are in a relationship they'll just be like bunnies and so frank about it I'll just die🫠. i hope we can get more of marvis and jamie also cuz they are a cute couple. their part in the novel was almost non existent so I'm happy atleast we are getting more than that but my greedy heart just won't stop. watching qin smile more than the 1st few episodes is also very very beautiful thing. i can't waittttt for the next episode now, gonna rewatch the ep now

i think when arnold and tua will get together boston or someone else will tell him that there is no payout for acting in this play and he gets to know that tua is paying him out of his pocket and will get angry with tua thinking that tua is doing all this cuz he pities arnold and they'll have a huge fight
