Okay, apparently writing 152563 comments about this show wasn't enough because I had to come back after seeing its rating drop to 8.8😭 😭😭It's genuinely frustrating. Honestly, I think people are being way too critical of this series. At some point, it doesn't even feel like criticism anymore like it just feels like people are looking for reasons to hate it.

What I don't understand is why every religious-themed movie or series is expected to end like Your Name Engraved Herein. And when it doesn't, people immediately say things like, "It could've been a great series, but it took the easy way out." I genuinely don't get that criticism. Why does every story have to end in tragedy to be considered meaningful or well-written?

The funny thing is, I've seen one group criticizing the show because it wasn't realistic (or tragic) enough, while another group says it's too heavy and refuses to watch it because of that. You literally can't please everyone.People will always find something to complain about🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ For me, this series was a perfect 10/10, from the story and cinematography to the acting, pacing, and overall execution. AND IT WAS SAD AS HELL

Fourth's acting was absolutely INCREDIBLE and deserves every bit of praise he's been getting. But I also feel like Gemini's performance hasn't been appreciated enough. Like i didn't see Gemini while watching, I saw Barth. I´m saying this cause we know how crazy Gemini is in real life😅🩷That's how convincing he was. The scene with his mother in the final episode completely broke me💔❤️‍🩹He did such an amazing job. And he deserves every praise.. They're both unbelievably talented, and I'm so happy this series gave them the chance to show what they're truly capable of. I really hope they continue taking challenging roles like this throughout their careers because they're such a joy to watch.

Anyway, my rant is over😭 Now let's get this damn 8.8 back to a 9.0 where it belongs!!!🙌🙌

I'm honestly so tired of this discussion. I'm exhausted by people constantly arguing about whether something is "realistic" or "unrealistic." This isn't even about comparing different series, but since it's another popular one, I'll mention it anyway. People said the exact same things about Heated Rivalry. Yes like literally... we can NOT have fun anymore so seems.. They kept saying it wasn't realistic -like duh??- , that things like that would never happen in real life, and that it should have ended tragically. Because apparently, according to some people, every queer story has to end in heartbreak.

As if there isn't a single happy queer person in this world. As if the entire LGBTQ+ community consists of nothing but pain, trauma, and tragedy. And because of that, they think every queer story from now on should also end in misery.

Guys, happy endings are allowed to exist.

I don't know what kind of emotional hole some of you are stuck in, but this constant obsession with tragedy isn't helping anyone. If anything, it's harmful, to yourselves and to the community. We deserve stories where queer people find happiness too. We deserve stories where they get to stay together. And let's not forget that this story was inspired by P'Aof's own life. He's been with his partner for 21 years. Is there a more beautiful source of inspiration than that? Why are we always looking for the worst possible outcome instead of appreciating stories that give people hope?

Some people even compared this series to Your Name Engraved Herein and said they wished it had ended the same way. I'm sorry, but... what the actual hell?

I don't know what kind of wounds you're carrying, and I'm genuinely sorry if you've been hurt, but watching more tragic stories isn't going to heal those wounds. The funny thing is, anyone reading these comments would probably think this drama was nothing but a fluffy, overly sweet romance from beginning to end. It wasn't. Until almost the very last scene, there were barely any truly happy moments at all. The characters suffered throughout almost the entire story.

Sometimes I honestly wonder whether we even allow ourselves to believe we deserve happiness. Or why we're so determined to deny it whenever we finally see it. Like I said, whether a story is completely realistic or not, we all deserve happy endings. And we deserve to read and watch beautiful stories that remind us happiness is possible too. Let´s heal together..

Because you didn’t like a happy ending?
but there are tho.. there are sometimes unnecessary hate. This word exist for a reason. It`s happens. I know what criticism and hate are two different things, but we also can`t label every hate comment as constructive criticism, some people just hate, maybe its not you but they are exist. And i am against that.

It's been almost 24 hours since the episode aired, and I finally feel like I've gathered my thoughts. Well... I also ended up arguing with a few people here in the meantime. So, here are my thoughts on Episode 5. From the very beginning, this series has been something completely different from the usual BL dramas. Someone in the comments wrote something that perfectly sums it up: "Because this is not BL, it's a queer series that shows us a young man struggling between duty and love." And I couldn't agree more.

We've been on this emotional journey with Tanrak since the very beginning. We never needed outside forces constantly shouting, "This is a sin!" for us to understand how impossible and painful his situation was. Everything was already right there in front of us. To those who say they couldn't see Tanrak's struggle, I'd like to say that I could barely breathe watching him from Episode 2 onward. We witnessed every ounce of his pain until the very last scene. Everything was obvious for anyone who truly wanted to see it.

But as the series itself says, "People can't live without love." That line applied to Tanrak just as much as anyone else. He was a child who lost both of his parents at a young age, someone who had been searching for love his entire life. Barth became his safe place, his strength, the person who showed him that he wasn't alone. Of course Tanrak was going to fall in love with him, especially considering he was still just a teenager trying to understand his feelings.

What I'm trying to say is that even in this episode, we were still walking alongside Tanrak as he struggled to make a choice. And then came yet another moment that separates this series from so many others: Queen Aunt Lek. This is exactly why this series is a masterpiece.

Queer stories are about all of us. They're about finding family, supporting one another, and helping each other survive. That's why it mattered so much that a transgender character was allowed to choose both herself and her faith. We shouldn't have to choose between who we are and God. As long as we love Him, He will love us too. That became one of the most powerful scenes in the entire drama.

P'Aof's cameo was absolutely adorable. It genuinely felt like he was the one showing them the path toward heaven. The hotel scene was so warm, intimate, and sincere. Tanrak getting all shy was unbelievably cute. Watching them smoke together for the first time and experience new things side by side felt so innocent and genuine. I absolutely loved it.

And then Barth meeting his mother... I started crying the moment that scene began. The pain felt incredibly real. Sadly, this is the heartbreaking reality that so many young people still have to go through. It was portrayed so honestly. One of my favorite moments was Barth praying for his mother. No matter how rebellious he may seem, deep down he's still just a mama's boy. And then that hug between him and Tanrak... I wanted to scream, "Please stop making me cry already!!"

And finally... the flash-forward. *spoiler for ending *

I honestly couldn't have asked for a more satisfying ending. It filled my heart with so much warmth. They deserved that ending. They had suffered for so long, and it was finally time for them to be happy. I truly hope that every real-life Barth and Tanrak out there eventually finds their own happy ending too. I wasn't surprised at all when I learned that the story was inspired by P'Aof's own experiences. A story this authentic could only be told so beautifully by someone who truly understands those emotions...

No matter what anyone says, this series is, and always will be, a masterpiece. A masterpiece. A MASTERPIECE. For every pain that was never spoken, every word that remained trapped inside, and every exhausted heart, this series became a light in the darkness. It became our own ticket to heaven...

Because you didn’t like a happy ending?
I think this discussion has gone on long enough. I guess we're both coming from a similar place, so there's no need to keep arguing.

Sometimes people don't really know how to criticize something, and they immediately label a show as bad just because they didn't enjoy it or because it wasn't their type. I could accept that with some other series, but I genuinely believe this one is on a completely different level in terms of both its quality and its story.

That's why this kind of unnecessary hate feels so pointless to me. Even if someone doesn't like the story, it's pretty obvious that this series has a purpose. It's completely different from those shows that are only about two attractive guys with explicit scenes. This series actually has meaningful messages, and I really hope it gets released on Netflix so more people have the chance to watch it.

That's also why I used "they" in my original comment. I was speaking in general about the people who dismiss the entire series as bad just because it's slow, soft, and has a more gradual pace.

If what you meant was genuine criticism, then I respect that. I'm not someone who normally comments on everything. I actually created this account because of this series. My intention was never to argue with anyone. I just hope you can understand why I reacted the way I did.

Because you didn’t like a happy ending?
I'm honestly surprised that all of you got this triggered. If something comes across to me as hate, I have every right to say that's how I see it.

You said, "It went from 10/10 to 7/10 real quick." So where exactly is the "criticism" you keep talking about in that comment? You're contradicting yourself.

You're free to write whatever you want, of course. But if that's your logic, then I have just as much of a right to say you're hating on it.

Because you didn’t like a happy ending?
I wasn't even talking to you in the first place. This wasn't your business, but since you decided to insert yourself into my comment, you got a response.

I'm grown up enough, thank you. The only one acting weird here is the person who feels the need to reply to every single comment. Don't project your insecurities onto me.

I've always said I'm open to criticism. My problem is with people who aren't offering criticism at all and are just looking for reasons to throw dirt at the series for no reason.

Because you didn’t like a happy ending?
How is that even relevant? You don't know me well enough to say something like that. Are you the one who gets to decide whether a drama deserves a high or low rating ??This drama had a deep impact on me, and I genuinely see it as different from other BL dramas. I've been through similar experiences myself, which is exactly why it resonated with me so much. And honestly, I find the pointless hate from some people ridiculous. Just like everyone else here, I have every right to share my own thoughts and opinions.

If someone keeps posting something negative about every single episode without offering any actual criticism, then to me that's just hate. Ever since the drama started, there's been a group of people who seem to be hating it for no reason other than to put it down. To me, that's nothing but hating.

I honestly don't even know where to begin or how to put into words just how much I loved this drama.

From the very first episode, it completely drew me in with its beautiful storytelling and never once let go. It was the kind of story that stayed with me and touched my heart until the very last scene. I can't thank P'Aof enough for creating something this special. His brilliant direction, together with Gemini and Fourth's phenomenal performances, gave us a true masterpiece.

Every episode was unforgettable in its own way. There were moments that shattered my heart and left me in tears, and others that filled me with the purest happiness and warmth. This drama made me feel every emotion possible, and that's something I'll always cherish.

I still need to watch the finale at least ten more times before I can even begin to write about it properly because one watch simply wasn't enough😭😭😭 It was absolutely beautiful, and I'm genuinely heartbroken that it's over:(

This has become one of my all-time favorite dramas, and I know I'll come back to it again and again. People often say they're lucky to have been born in a generation where they could experience certain masterpieces. That's exactly how I felt while watching this drama. I honestly have no words. It's a perfect 10/10. Barth and Tanrak will stay in my heart forever🥹🥹🥹

And as a new GeminiFourth fan, I already can't wait to see all of their future projects. And of course, I'll be looking forward to whatever P'Aof creates next. Thank you for giving us such an unforgettable story.. Love wins for real!!!🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈
