10/10 Well, I really liked it...

If a show isn't all that interesting, I will find myself subconsciously counting the absurd amount of table lamps they've used to dress a set. Set designers just LOVE table lamps. l've seen all 16 current episodes of Fourever You and haven't counted lamps once. In fact, get so caught up with what's going on that I forget I don't speak Thai and I have to rewind to catch up on the subtitles.
Sure, the show isn't without its flaws. I personally am not a fan of the 3 Stooges slapstick side friendships that seem to get shoe-horned in a lot to these types of series. Also the flow seems too drawn out and disjointed in the Ter/Hill storyline. And the subtitles look like they've been written by an Al who is both drunk, and dyslexic. Just as well I'm fluent in reading between the lines. It's such a pity I haven't been able to get my hands on an English language version of the books this is based on...yet.
loved the friendship dynamics of the four 2nd Year medical students. It actually looked like they were genuinely friends IRL as well as on-screen. I also quite enjoyed the Ter and North friendship. It looked fun. Sure, the actor who plays Easter goes way too far over the top, but you get used to it.
But I'm all in for the Johan/North relationship. Bas and Maky have brilliant chemistry, and I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline.
The casting directors sure knew what they were doing when they cast Typhoon. I do know some of what's coming in season 2 and I don't know if my poor heart can take it.
Overall, I didn't find the acting to be poor at all, with the exception of just a couple of minor actor roles. I also pay to watch the longer uncut versions, which seem to be 10 minutes longer than what you get for free on YouTube in the UK. No big deal, just swapped in Studio Wabi Sabi and cancelled Disney+...no great loss.

10/10 The keyword is COMFORT

This bl was everything I needed to brighten my days. This was so so fluffy and it made me scream so many times.
It's the type of show that brings you so much comfort, so much happiness.
Pros:
* Fourthgemini was absolutely ADORABLE. They were kinda cliche but that cliche you absolutely adore and miss those days: the one that makes you melt your insides actually and feel super super single
* It was FUNNY. It made me miss romantic comedies. I rarely laugh at tv shows but especially some of Tinn's fantasies in his head made me die. Omg just remembering these scenes makes me laugh HE'S SO CUTE
* The bromance. The band was amazing with all their adorable bromance moments. This squad is my favorite, they became my family
-The music. I usually HATE when there is music or a guitar in a tv show but these songs were BOPS I'm telling you. The theme song especially is stuck in my head. And if music isn't for you just skip these parts, please don't let this stop you from watching.
* Dealing with issues. I loved how this show also dealt with homophobia, family issues (and other stuff regarding the family but *spoilers removed*) etc
Cons: NOTHING Even tho there were some scenes that annoyed me for example some arguments and yellings from some members of the band here and there (thankfully not from the main couple, these were minor arguments) for sometimes not even a good enough reason, they were thankfully all dealt with and everyone apologized so l was really happy and actually really touched.
In conclusion: JUST WATCH THIS SHOW YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

10/10 Moo is the cutest character l've ever seen

Okay... For some reason I didn't want to watch this. No idea why, I haven't seen the trailer, I didn't know anything about the actors, I just wasn't interested. WRONG! Know what convinces me to give it a chance? Comment where someone said it's similar to My school president. I'm a huge fan of MSP and when I heard this, I just had to watch it.
And I got hooked after a few minutes. I can't believe Keen and Sea are that young. Their chemistry is amazing and they are so cute together! Their scenes were amazing and great.
Moo is definitely the cutest character l've ever seen. Have you seen his smile? Damn, if I was a girl in that universe, I'd be head over heels in love with him. Kang as well. Damn, those two really match together.
The thing is, both of them are newbies in the entertainment industry, but it's really hard to believe. Well, the same thing ! thought about Gemini and Fourth and look at them now. I see KeenSea can be the same as they are and I hope they will be. I want to see them again.
Side couple? They were cute as well. I totally love them both. I mean, all four of them. Kang, Moo, Yos and Tae. It's really hard to choose which couple I liked more. It's impossible. For me at least. I just wish YosTae would get more screentime because I feel like there was much more they could show us. I feel like their story lacked something and I'll explain it later.
In the synopsis, there is something written about the no-dating rule in idol agency, so I thought they would date secretly and drama would come. Nope, nothing like that, only by the end. Moo is so cute while flirting with Kang. I love how he fell in love at first sight and then did whatever to pursue him! Aww that was so cute!
When the no-dating rule came, Many people were complaining and saying that it was totally unnecessary, but I feel like this part was actually needed. In my opinion both couples needed it.
Now I'm going to say something about Shone - Moo's cousin who also had a crush on Kang. So many people hated him and said he should disappear and let them be. But he did.
When he found out Kang was Moo's crush, he let them be together. He flirted with Kang again only six months after he and Moo had broken up. I see nothing wrong here. His feelings for Kang were real and there was nothing wrong with them.
I understand why people don't like it, but I personally did.
Now I'd like to say something about the end. I feel like it was too rushed. When I saw the preview of the 12th ep, the first thing I thought of was: I feel like this is gonna be too much drama for one ep. Too many things are unsolved and I think Yos and Tae deserve much more than one ep to complete their storyline. And I think that even now after finishing. It was too rushed.

10/10 Best BL of 2024 so far

Wow. So this was something amazing. A while ago I sent a friend this message: "It's amazing, amazing amazing amazing perfect great wonderful and I've run out of synonyms for the word amazing." And I stand by my words.
The interesting thing is that the series is filmed in Taiwan, but according to a Chinese book by a very famous author called Priest, One Chinese series based on a book by this author has already been banned in China, so I'm glad that Taiwan took the initiative to create such a wonderful work. It will be very difficult for me to say goodbye to this couple. I think this is the first time I'm sorry that it's not common outside of Thailand for couples to stay together and star in multiple series because Chris and Kurt are the stars. They played the roles of Qian and Yuan perfectly and put their best into both characters. Chemistry begets chemistry, tension builds, and sparks fly exactly when they're supposed to. AWESOME.

10/10 Weather and its likeable love stories

Divided into two parts, the series depicts love stories of Payu and Rain followed by Prapai and Sky. Here, characters are flawed as we see in other series and with plot development we see them change for the good of love, if flawed characters are not your type then you should probably skip. Else the way these couples fall and stay by each other no matter what is the flow of the story. I loved them both, but personal preference is Payu and Sky especially because of the details showing how Payu the feisty guy becomes soft as cloud when it's about his important Rain.
Whether comforting him in his arms or marring his own feelings for the good of Rain. Payu's feelings are tested from time to time, where Rain comes in terms with his inclination towards Payu and the way Payu is always there for him. Payu works tirelessly and desires the same for Rain, becoming Rain's inspiration in life. From watching movies to lost in each other everywhere, they only need their love and no one else in between.
Prapai is no different, he is not just words, he proves he will always be there for Sky, which even Sky acknowledges, that no exhaustion can stop him from coming to Sky. They too come close by the strength of care they pour on each other.
The actors did fabulous job for the roles given, and you will get blown away by the music, locations and color contrasts used.

10/10 Oh, my heart...

After watching The Time Of Fever, I sought a way to buy it (I never did that for a BL) That's how I realized that it was a spin-off from Unintentional Love, which I watched first and liked very much. One thing I hate in dramas are secondary love stories. So of course, I didn't pay much attention to these weird friends-not-lovers and couldn't remember them. So of course... I had to watch UO all again to find out what happened after Dong Hee came back from Seoul. I kinc of got two endings but both left me wanting more.
This was simple but beautiful and so. Goddamn. Hot.
Without sex. But hot as hell. And cute and pure and heart wrenching. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere, the light, the music, the acting, the chemistry. Even... And more than everything else, the kisses. In any kind of drama, kisses just get on my nerves. These ones kept me open-mouthed, fish out of the water, choking and quivering all over for minutes. I know why. There was no loud song, or useless camera effects. Just two people left alone. I wish any drama director would learn from this. Kisses work on. Their. Own.

10/10 Astounding and Confounding Storyline

I'm not good at writing reviews so I just gonna tell my feelings throughout this series. Thai BL have reached a whole new level with A Tale of Thousand Stars. The storyline and the characters of this seriez are very much different from the other typical BL ones and this makes it even more special. If you're looking for a story portraying pure love, this is the one. The chemistry between Earth and Mix are so good that even skinships aren't necessary. Just the two of them staring into each other's eyes can melt you. I don't wanna spoil y'all so I'll just put it briefly. "Tian" will be the softest, purest and the most angelic character among everything you've seen. The character development is so heartwarming and Mix really brought the best of Tian that it is even hard to believe that this is his first acting debut.
Also, for Earth, I've seen his previous works but he seems the most natural and comfortable with Mix. There is no awkwardness at all. I'll have to say that he has found his ultimate pair and I'm so happy for that.
For the sceneries and soundtracks, this series slays it all.
The side characters stand out so well, too. You will get several life lessons watching this. Trust me, just give it a try and you'll never be able to forget this masterpiece.
This series.

10/10 Absolute reality and humanity

In this hetero ocean, two fish appear, each with its own sea and deep down they have doubts about who they really are... Japan produces LGBTQ+ projects, ranging from complete strongholds to completely unrealistic pieces based on manga, but still Japanese society as a whole is not so open to human differences on the outside, traditions and uniformity are adhered to. This wonderful piece is proof of how these two characters were shy and approached their inner differences so cautiously. That is why, in my opinion, this series is so different from most others, which offer unreality, fairy tales and often we don't find many hetero characters in the project. Thanks to the director, the entire team and both guys who put that special Japanese charm and absolute REALITY into it, it is civil, HUMAN and for me not 10/10, but 11/10.
Someone here mentions whether the project would have been so highly rated if it weren't for BL. Of course it wasn't.
After all, the hetero characters wouldn't have to fumble around so much, come to terms with their difference on the outside, and it would have been a completely normal series.

10/10 Lovely

A beautiful series. A delicate script, with some forgivable flaws, endearing characters, excellent cinematography, and incredible performances. The entire cast is top-notch, whether they play the main characters or the secondary ones, they are wonderful. The cinematography is very well done. The handling of light in the shots is very beautiful, giving us images full of beauty. Regarding the script, it gives us really profound and incredible dialogues, with phrases that make you want to incorporate them into your own notebooks. Beautiful. The music accompanies perfectly.
Moonlight Chicken shows us complex stories in a simple way, without avoiding a bit of reality. The themes are treated sincerely and without fuss. Wonderful, for example, how the hearing impairment of one of the secondary characters is addressed.
The characters are lovely. Among my favorites is Wen, whom we can get to know in his entirety from the first episode. A laid-back, strong, seductive, and mature guy, and at the same time, with a sweetness that is simply irresistible. I think it is the best performance I have seen from Mix. On the other hand, we have Li Ming, a teenager struggling for his coming of age, played by Fourth in a masterful way.
Undoubtedly, the best he has done in character development and, along with Gemini playing Heart, they steal the series and eclipse the protagonists with the tenderness, humanity, and delicacy with which they portray their characters.
I would also like to highlight Khaotung playing Gaipa, a secondary character, without much presence in the story, but who is so, so well acted by him that it moves you.
Everything about him is natural, endearing. He is so lovable.
This actor has outdone himself. He has surprised me enormously in this performance, showing that he can play great roles.
In summary, I highly recommend it.

10/10 Multiversal perfection

Let me be honest, at first, I started watching this because of Jimmy. I fell for him in Bad buddy and thats the reason why I wanted to see this. In the end, it totally couth me. Jimmy and Sea have perfect chemistry and watchers have no other choice but fall for it. The story was amazing, even if I was litte bit confused in the first episode. I thought OhmNanon are in the original universe and JimmySea in the different one, but when it was clear to me, I was impatiently waiting for new ep. I would love to see some spin off about Tess and Pakorn living in our world and how did they deal with the multiversal situation, because from the first or second episode we know that there Had been some issue between them before they "died".
Bonus: Beautiful soundtrack. It's really worth to listen!

I just created an account just because I want y'all to know that this is the best bl series of this year or maybe the best bl series of all the time! Just watched the ep 9 and I'm completely blown away by the beauty of it. I literally burst into tears. Never I have ever shed a single tear watching a bl series but last twilight beat me into it. And about the story there's nothing to say. Just the best.

10/10 A Heartfelt Symphony of Love and Struggles

ThamePo: Heart That Skips a Beat is a 2024 Thai romantic drama series directed by Aticha Tanthanawigrai, starring William Jakrapatr Kaewpanpong and Est Supha Sangaworawong, alongside the members of the Thai boy band LYN. Co-produced by GMMTV and Parbdee Taweesuk, this 13-episode series captures the complex realities of the idol industry and the human relationships that evolve within it.
The story revolves around Pawat "Po" Nuenganan, an aspiring videographer, who is hired to document the final concert of the boy band MARS before their disbandment. Po becomes a confidant to the band's leader, Teema "Thame" Kanjanakitkul, who is on the verge of debuting in South Korea. As tensions among the band members unravel, Po helps Thame reconcile with his group while navigating a budding romance that must remain hidden from the public eye.
Initially, I wasn't convinced this series would stand out. The premise seemed overused, and the chemistry between the leads didn't quite shine in the trailers. But watching ThamePo proved me wrong. Not only did Est and William deliver nuanced performances, but the entire LYKN ensemble brought authenticity and depth to the narrative.
The series excels in portraying the darker side of the entertainment industry, from the relentless scrutiny idols face to the challenges of maintaining a "perfect" image for fans. It highlights real issues, such as internal competition, favouritism, and the heartbreaking reality of fans rejecting idols for simply falling in love. These insights add a layer of realism and emotional weight to the story, making it more than just another BL romance.
The relationship between Thame and Po is the heart of the series, offering a refreshing take on romantic dynamics.
Their connection is built on patience, care, and mutual understanding, creating moments that feel pure and genuine. Thame's attentiveness and Po's quiet strength make their relationship a beacon of green flags in the genre.
The slow-burn progression of their love is tender, and their small, heartfelt gestures resonate deeply.
However, the series doesn't shy away from the harsher realities of their situation. The breakup episode between Thame and Po is a standout moment, delivering emotional impact while reflecting the brutal pressures of the entertainment industry. It's a poignant reminder of the sacrifices idols are forced to make for their careers.
The camaraderie within the MARS group is another highlight. Despite conflicts and misunderstandings, the bond between the members feels genuine and evolves beautifully over the course of the series. The show effectively balances the tension and support within the group, showcasing the complexities of friendship in a high-pressure environment.
Visually, ThamePo impresses with its cinematography and production quality. The wide shots and vibrant colours elevate the storytelling, while the music, performed by LYKN, enhances the emotional beats of the series. William's singing adds an extra layer of authenticity, making the portrayal of MARS feel genuine.
Pepper's para social fan storyline was inevitable and vital, and it could have been explored further, these shortcomings don't overshadow its overall impact.
ThamePo: Heart That Skips a Beat is a journey of love, friendship, and resilience. It sheds light on the challenges idols face while delivering a heartfelt, slow-burn romance that lingers in the viewer's mind. For fans of emotionally rich and beautifully crafted dramas, this series is a must-watch.
A touching, thought-provoking gem that strikes the perfect balance between drama and romance.

10/10 The first omega verse ever

This is the first omega verse series ever made in the history and it's made in its best way with the real Alpha / beta / omega plot and including enigma, and it is one of the best bls ever made despite being made in a country with censorship and blocked bl while the actors did their best alongside the produces to make this masterpiece.
It stars with an enigma called hua Yong which gathered 32 exs of a director of company (sheng shao you ) which is alpha and hua Yong pretended to be a pitiful omega based on the instructions he learned from mr. Sheng's exes to know how to act and to become his lover, while on the other side there is second couple which talks about an omega (gao tu) who pretended to be a beta due to mom's promise to protect him from misery and he has a crush on his boss university colleague for about 10 years (Shen wen lang) which is alpha and he hates omega so much so gao to can't confess to him, and the journey of this wonderful omega verse masterpiece begins.

10/10 this is absolutely a good series

Revenge is a dish best served cold, and in the scorching-hot world of BL dramas, "Revenged Love" delivers a deliciously icy thrill ride. This series masterfully blends the classic tropes of revenge, forbidden love, and simmering tension into a compelling narrative that keeps you hooked from the very first episode. The pacing is excellent, never dragging while allowing ample time for character development and emotional resonance.
The performances are uniformly strong. The lead actors possess undeniable chemistry, their interactions crackling with both animosity and undeniable attraction. Their portrayal of the complex emotional landscape-the simmering resentment, the hesitant vulnerability, and the eventual, explosive passion-is nothing short of captivating.
Supporting characters are equally well-developed, each contributing meaningfully to the overall plot and adding layers of intrigue to the central conflict. Their stories, while interwoven with the main narrative, stand on their own, adding depth and richness to the viewing experience.
The writing is sharp and witty, balancing the dramatic weight of the revenge plot with moments of lighthearted humor that prevent the story from becoming overly melodramatic. The dialogue is natural and believable, enhancing the emotional impact of key scenes. The writers cleverly weave in unexpected twists and turns, keeping viewers guessing and invested in the unfolding drama. The reveal of certain plot points is expertly handled, adding a satisfying layer of complexity to the characters' motivations and actions.
Visually, "Revenged Love" is stunning. The cinematography is breathtaking, capturing the beauty of the setting while effectively enhancing the emotional tone of each scene. The soundtrack is equally impressive, perfectly complementing the mood and adding another layer to the immersive experience. The use of music is particularly effective in highlighting emotional shifts, amplifying the impact of key moments and enhancing the overall viewing experience.

"Revenged Love" is ultimately a story about love, forgiveness, and the complexities of human relationships.
It's a testament to the power of second chances and the transformative potential of genuine connection. The series successfully explores themes of betrayal, redemption, and the enduring strength of the human spirit. It's a must-watch for fans of BL dramas and anyone who appreciates a well-crafted story with compelling characters and a satisfying resolution. The emotional journey is intense, the characters are memorable, and the overall impact is unforgettable.
Highly recommended!
