I see what your saying but there is no one else this time who has done anything to get daesang. Kim goeun is the one that shine the most when it comes to acting. Awards don’t really all focus on ratings especially this one where ott viewership and buzzworthy is the focus. Solely on acting her 3 characters did more then anyone else there that night. If it was just Yumi then yes I would agree thats not daesang compared to like hyesun but overall it’s goeun. JDY is good but that was nothing new shown from her in that series
POC was #1 non-eng and #5 globally, yumi is tving and ranked #1 , YAEE was top 5 non-eng on Netflix

Also if you focus on rating Scarecrow should have won grand prize not kitchen soldier. But this is ott so its not about tv ratings

No if you watch the shows you can tell when they go off script especially this one. He literally starts talking to everyone so the speechs can be longer and putting his own convos when it comes to the entertainers just like shin dong yup but more. When he is hosting with others like jang do yeon it’s different she adds too and keeps him on his toes . Also kim hye soo but she is different an pretty much helps create the whole script. The new host and even her previous host are bland too cause they just read. Han ji min is still struggling and sadly keeps getting bad reviews. There really is no lead for the new mcs even thought its suppose to hjm leading.
So no they arent the same. It obvious when one mc is leading more then the other and who is just there to do as told and smile. Also when it comes to suzy and park bo gum , shin dong yup always gets them talking off script its a better team. And for the other actors they dont host conservative awards so of course they can just read and move on

He is gonna host the whole show again adding his own script while she stands there reading the written script like a robot . He wants to host alone and they are kinda letting him, the show must want him to stand out more

The show already was doing well so it doesn’t affect it. Its also not like all viewers went to watch the other show. So losing a few minutes in the front wont affect it. If the show wasn’t doing well then maybe yes. Also new KBS drama starts right between the two so we will see what happens Saturday
