I think they will tone down his character because chinese entertainment is famous for making the Male leads kind and filled with yearning. They did the same for love for you drama in the novel chen yi was more of a red flag then Luan Nian but it was watered down version in the drama he was shown as hero pining for the fl. Trust me they will do the same for Luan Nian as well.

That's what I have been praying from the moment I have read the novel because his death was so sudden. As it was shown that he was recovering and he even planned to eat out in restaurant with his friends but his sudden suicide made me sad for 2 days. Please i just hope they change the ending 😭😭

And the worst part was while kissing her he said he didn't miss her just because he saw her hugging someone. And even when she recieved flowers he was so rude to her . I just hope they don't make him as despicable as he was in the novel.

I will feel more heartbroken for Sun Yun because she will have to go through the pain of unrequited love and his death. You know while reading it the novel l never realised that sub yuanzhu could die as he was showing improvement in his health but his sudden death Haunted me for one week straight. I guess I have to watch the episode with a tough heart 😭😭😭

Yes and the worst part of his character was whenever he felt jealous or misunderstood he would just lash out on flora or call her stupid instead of dealing it with maturity even though he was older and mature. Female lead was just a doormat lacking backbone. I hope they give her a little backbone in the drama

Already binged this drama, but personally in the later half the story was slightly boring. That's my personal review ( no hate I love both the leads)
